  1. Not a Master imho nor a Vitro--the long cutlines do add up but the colors do not. Pelt "Liberty" Imho. @Fire1981??? I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  2. Nice marble! They are all tough to find--this one is special--very nice. Thanks for sharing it. Marble--On!!
  3. Show me the black--this one is an Akro slag imho--green and white--no black--Backlight it and show some more images. I have a bad feeling about this one. Nice marble--just not quite right with the finish. Size always matters---- Marble--On!!
  4. It appear to have the Vitro qualities-Conquerer--hmmm? Marble--On!!
  5. Not a slag--a Wvs--common but nice. Marble--On!!
  6. Not a slag--a wvs of some type. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  7. There is little room for embarrassment here my friends. Fire will not put up with It—ever. Give what you have and enjoy some “Camaraderie”. New friends, in this weird field of collecting marbles is always a good thing. This place is safe and we all try to keep it that way. @bumblebee @Chad G. and I @akroorka will give our best always to keep the riff-raff out. Contribute to the post and be rewarded--sometimes post's, some times a little money helps too. I just remembered my lack of investment here, I usually invest in June--oh well here goes. It was a ruff year pain--wise--here we go! This is not a cheap operation. Marble—On!!

    Peltier?

WVS X2. I have had one or two of these cross my path--I love -em--no Idea who made them--Chad is right on as far as I am concerned. Backlight them all. Here is a link to an affordable marble “back lighter”. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V5TV9DF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Marble—On!!
  9. I always count white as a color--what about clear?? Oh no-- here we go again. Marble--On!!
  10. I would call this one an Akro Slag. Sorry, I got off a bit with my wondering mind. Marble--On!!
  11. I like the colors! I have had a few pass through my hands--WVS--no maker from me. Lets ask @cheese for an opinion. Marble--On!!
  12. Jabo imho--nice one though! I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  13. Merry Pelt Christmas Trees! Nice group! Check for any sharp blowholes on any Pelt—they are generally rounded at the edges of the blow out—just glass and the way that it works. If it is sharp—it may have been polished. Show us what you find. Nice Marbles--some of my favorites. Marble—On!!
  14. I suspect that these marbles were at the very least--"Buffed". Maybe a practice group? I have a bad feeling about these. Hard to tell the maker. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  15. Image one is classic--we have to see it straight on--from the top. When one marble hits another (Glass is actually a hard liquid check out old glass windows—it does flow) the result is a “Moon”. This one I suspect is a “moon” that that “broke out” around the perimeter like an asteroid hitting our Earth’s Moon itself. It was more than likely a direct hit, no glancing or angles involved. The result is an impact zone that defies my explanation or knowledge. The middle stays semi intact, pushing into the glass itself (like a small rise or even to the surface of the original marble). The rest explodes outwards in a semi circle—never to be found again) except by someone’s foot . Glass is always in motion, if you could place a marble on a stable area and come back 1000 years later it would be flat—or flatter. Yes I know –pretty deep—no lies here—just glass research. If you are lucky enough to find a blow out or moon that has the center involved as original—you are lucky—value—well, cool if you think like me. Marble—On!!
  16. I cannot speak for Fire or schmoozer but you will not be embarrassed by anything that I get in the mail. I will do my best to not overwhelm anyone involved—just cool marbles. I am sure schmoozer and Fire are right on with this. It is not about getting but giving as well. I like to include a hard to ID marble in these trades—nice—just hard to ID. I did this years ago on “Nans board”( anyone remember this one?). We did individual marbles and someone out there gave me the very first marble that she ever made by hand—pretty cool to receive on my end! I just love this stuff. Marble—On!!
  17. I agree--x2 for sure. Nice find. Marble--On!!
  18. Nice agate! This one is full of moons or hit marks from play. Back light this one with a strong pen light--very cool to look at. Marble--On!!
  19. Pretty cool for sure. I am thinking Vitro here. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  20. I agree cheese. Notice the boring white and red ones--nothing boring there. Just a killer white! This is CAC at its best. Marble--On!!
  21. This one had a ruff life for sure. It may have been bounced off the driveway a few times ( many times). Boulder? Over one inch in size--maybe two inches? Given the images I would call it an older Vacor--no name from me.(Millenium?) Vacor marbles do stand up to abuse--not a Jabo imho. @Mojo might know this one if the size is given. Marble--On!!
  22. This is a well used Vacor imho. There are still many tournaments that use these during competition. I would be hard pressed to call this one a Peltier. The way that the white bleeds off is a good tell for Vacor. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  23. You did very well my marble collecting friend. Thanks for sharing! Marble--On!!
  24. Cool it is--very cool! Way back when, these were the first marbles that I ever purchased thinking that they might be a CAC “Guinea". They were in an old chicken coop still covered in detritus and massive dust. Live and learn for sure. I was educated by my own mistakes and the willingness to learn from them—I just love this stuff.! Marble—On!!
