  1. We are all kids here--some of us are just way older kids Zzzzzzzz💤. ( maybe a snore mixed in). Imperial sold a whole bunch of cool marbles. The Marbles that Imperial sold have been fooling many collectors for years. It is just a fact that they came from a multitude of countries. I just wish that I could break the code about who made what. Just do a search--Imperial Toy Company was bankrupt about six years ago and purchased by Ja-Ru ( Japenese firm ?). @shiroaiko is a master @recearching. This may be a new endeavor for her--or not--just sayin. Marble--On!!
  2. Ummm--- I do not know if Jabo was allowed to dump into creeks any more. Do not let this stop you--dig away--just make sure that it is legal--or get a bunch of friends to look out for you --lol. Marble--On!!!
  3. I agree--check it and get back to us. Clean up your images--lock your elbows into your ribs--steady, steady--shoot. Sit down if you have to--who cares? Crop them to the edges of the marble and post some more images. Good luck! Marble--On!
  4. I have seen a handfull of these that were used as "Polishing Media". They were made for several reasons but polishing a variety of manufactured items in a tumbler was probably the most used. Mine were all scar-ed up with a flat or "raspy" finish to them. Not worth a whole lot of money--just a cool find to me--and an education that came along with them ---which is priceless. Thanks for sharing these. Marble--On!!
  5. Ravenswood made more 9/16" sizes than they did any other size. Just as an example, Akro made buzillions more marbles than Ravenswood but Akro are hard to find in this size, trust me I have tried to find them. This one lines up with a Ravenswood but you never know. It is a WVS and I like it. Maybe @cheese will check in here and give us a good ID. Marble--On!!
  6. This is a tuff one--lol. I am leaning towards Vacor. Ya just never know do ya? Marble--On!!
  7. Good call Steph. These were from the time when 7-up came in glass bottles. My Grandma would keep these bottles in the cupboard with a cork pushed into the top after she opened them. The same thing with her beer--she liked it warm. Marble--On!!
  8. X2, a pretty nice one at that. I love thrifting too--welcome to the board--keep them coming. Marble--On!!
  9. Good job my marble collecting friend. A very nice display idea as well. Keep it going--What is next? Marble--On!!

    Jabo?

I would sort this one as a Vacor. No name from me. Marble--On!!
  11. Lol🤪--- you mean your are starting a marble addiction right? Welcome Pete2226 to "TheMarbleConnection" the oldest marble board on Planet Earth--maybe the whole Galaxy. I may be mental here-- but my first thought was Peltier Rainbo. Both Vitro and Peltier made some very strong--"well cooked" transparent glass. I have been wrong before--before--before this. (many times before this) I can take my lumps and move on. Just food for thought. Marble--On!!

    Vitro?

Sometimes you have to look away from the colors and focus on the construction. If Vitro, it would be a weird "Whitie" if Peltier--a weird "Rainbo". The colors line up with both companies--the blow outs do not. I do not remember many Vitro with all-out chip surrounded blow holes. Peltiers are known for this so I lean towards Peltier Rainbo. Nice share--interesting for sure. Marble--On!!

    ???

Search for the cutlines on this one, they do not line up with the white vs transparent. The white shows an orangish glow--possible opalescent glass. I think that you have a Vitro "Conqueror" here. Marble--On!!

    ???

I agree with Wolf. I would not call it a swirl--but a catseye instead. This one saw some good play--love it. It could be another--state you impressions here, we all will welcome them. Marble--On!!

    Shooter

This is a one inch marble, consider the size here. I am on the fence about this one. Vacor ( a weird "Sunset) or--the Akro digs did find some similar to this one--larger sized. The older collectors (yep-older than me😁) called them "Sparklers, I never really got it there. I think that Alox is just not right, I may be wrong--nice research though. All opinions are appreciated. 16. This one came from the British Isles imho. Nice Marble. Nice images as well--- All opinions are welcomed. Marble—On!!
  17. Fantasy-for sure🤢. Marble--On!!
  18. Akro Agate made a lot of "Patch Type" marbles. I would consider Akro here with a slight lean towards Vitro Agate. Nice marble! Great post! All opinions are appreciated and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  19. Nice images here. I would probably sort it as a nice big "Imperial". I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  20. This one is a Peltier "Rainbo" imho. Nice find! Nice images as well!!! Marble--On!!
  21. I would need clearer images to make a definite ID. I see the metal (very cool) I do not see the "Pincher". Lets call in @shiroaiko and @YasudaCollector for an opinion here. They both know the Japenese products very well. Marble--On!!
  22. You will not find many Master Made Marbles with defects like "metal included". This is a top shelf Master imho-very rare. Marble--On!!

    Pelt?

I doubt that the black is opaque. Get a strong pen-light underneath it and look again. I am guessing that it looks purple.(maybe brown) The white is opalescent imho and many marble companies use "cullet glass" or leftover glass from the factory that mad "Ponds Cold Cream" Jars. This one is not a Peltier. It is a WVS or West Virginia Swirl that includes many companies. My guess ( I suck at WVS ID) would be Alley Agate. I appreciate the nice images, the size and you patience here. Marble--On!!
