I would call it a swirl, probably a dug marble from WV. Makers would include Alley Agate and Ravenswood---amongst others of course. Nice find! Marble--On!!

It is a common Cats eye---Millions were made and passed-on by collectors. Research "Cross Through Cat-eye Marbles" and find them--good luck sorting through the hundreds of cats that you may find. I always loved doing this--especially in these cold winter months. Have fun and Marble—On!!

I may be wrong here, but as I recall, Akro named more of their marbles than anyone else. ( Except for Vacor, which is a great marketing trick no doubt) The company names seem to stick quite well for me. The rest--well, they are collectors names that we all know and love Marble—On!!

X3, I would sort this one as a slag. No maker is evident to me. Marble--On!!

Imperial would be my guess here too. Nice images! Marble--On!!

Vacor--little doubt. A weak version of a "Jungle" imho. Marble--On!

I agree, it looks like an Imperial. Imperial was/is on the west coast that was a seller of many things including marbles from many countries overseas. (A jobber) To nail it down to which country it came from, would be very hard to do. I am glad to see that you lit it hard--backlighting is even better. Just take a small penlight, rest the marble on it--and shoot it---or just look at it--. I just love this stuff. Marble--On!!

Vacor for sure. A Cricket? ( I think so) Nice find! Nice images! Post the size always--! Marble—On!!

Either “Master Made Marbles” or “Master Glass” made this one imho. To put it in a nutshell—“Master Made Marbles” was an old company that turned into “Master Glass”. In the earlier years they competed with Akro Agate and they eventually bought out Akro Agate. The quality went down the tubes after that. They were in a fight for their life with the USA restrictions lifted on Japanese marbles after WW2—mainly Cat-eyes. Yours shows some evidence of being a Master Glass marble, the blue and white stream in one image reminds me of a “Master Glass Marble”(Cats-Eye) that often showed up in the Cats-Eyes that they made. You posted some great images, keep them coming—A bit sharper would help. Marble—On!!

Akro "Moonies" vs CAC "Moonies". This is always an interesting discussion for me. I researched Akro“Flinties” for many years. The white ones were always a hard find for me. I came to the conclusion that the Akro white “Flinties” and “Moonies” were the same thing. Now comes the Cac vs Akro thing---There is no doubt a slight difference that could /maybe be told in hand. My advice, Take it to a show and find a CAC collector—and an Akro collector. Nice marble non-the-less and a very good ask here. Marble—On!!

I had a nice Japenese Maple a few years back. The same thing happened to me. I got some stainless steel bolts and got it back together--it died that winter--so sad, I gave it my best though. It's little bro is doing fine now--and growing well.

I agree with Tommy on the middle one--an Imperial--nice one there. The third one I would hesitate to call CAC--Alley sounds like a good choice here. Nice marble regardless of the ID. Marble--On!!
