  1. Wow, still a nice post that you bought back to life Tommy. Oxblood is not a thing--it is a passion. Here are some that I have.
  2. Thanks for your efforts here. Out of respect for your efforts, I did my own cropping and I added a bit of light as well. I would love to see some more of the bottom right in the bottom image. Nice bright clear images--cropped well. Marble--On!!

    Shot type

Shot type is not a good header--Clays, along with a size id would be much better. Any lead or steel type shot would be able to be recognized by the weight of the marble/orb in hand. These are simple clays that are very hard to ID as far as the maker or where they came from. I like them and over the years I have found these in "Lot's" of marbles". Nothing goes to waist in my house--my wife loves them as do many folks for a "Decorator item"--many kept in a small glass jar mixed with some other does make a great display. Marble--On!!
  4. Well you never heard this from me before--but those are not Akro colors (ya never know do ya). The construction of the one gets my vote for Vitro. Marble--On!!

    Imps

Yes foriegn Cato-- Imperial was a marble/toy company on the west coast that bought and resold many items including marbles--we in the marble collecting community call one such as them "Jobbers". ( did I ever here a reason why they are called this--nope--maybe @Alan knows or anyone else that wants to chime in) The marbles that Imperial purchased were included by country in most of thier packaging--thankfully but what a thing to dechipher. Many many countries can be found listed including Mexico. Hope this helps! Marble--On!!
  7. I agree Tommy but these long culines point me towards Vitro--on the fence again--ouch🤢. Marble--On!!
  8. I would love to see it for one. Yours is an Indian--I hate to say plain ole Indian because Indians have a cool factor with me. This one I would consider as a cool ole Indian. Luvv em. Marble--On!!
  9. When you post images you must consider the different sides of the marble. We almost all like to see the cutmarks of the marble. This would be a thin line where one color ends on another color in many cases. The ID given on these marbles would be guesses by me. We need to see at least two opposite sides to make a proper ID. Keep them to three or four per image, keep the images sharp and crop well. Thanks for showing up here at TheMarbleConnection and if I did not welcome you before--Welcome. Marble--On!!
  10. Ummm, I am thinking Vitro here. More opinions are needed though. Marble--On!!
  11. Pretty cool find. Chalkie works for me. Marble--On!!
  12. Yep--an Alley. This one looks like it sat at the bottom of a coffee can for a while. You can clean it up or leave it alone as far as I am concerned. I love this old “found stuff’. Marble—On!!
  13. Right on. Each of these had two cutoffs--every marble does. You have the terms right on. I have not found anything in my research to call this one or the other. It is an easy one to fake. More opinions are needed here. @Alan has more experience with this stuff--he may check in here. Marble--On!!
  14. I have no problem calling these Veiligglas. I have miss-spelled this Marble name so any times that I choke on it when I see it. This is my best. Marble--On!!
  15. This one could be an Akro--or a Vitro. More opinions are needed here. Marble--On!!
  16. @1 inch--this is a very cool find. MK but very cool. Marble--On!!
  17. Pretty cool imho. This one is not an American made marble imho. I could be one of those big Asian rascals like the ones found in an "Imperial" boxed set. Marble--On!!
  18. A contemporary marble. I love the deep blue. It could be from the Chinese market?? Marble--On!!
  19. This is a Master Patch imho. I always appreciate more opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  20. A common WVS imho. Nice looker though. Marble--On!!
