  1. You were on the edge my marble collecting friend. Back in the older days—this type of talk made marble collecting a bad thing to experience or be involved with. It made me step back for quite a few years. I am glad to be back but the inter fighting or lack of respect must end here. I respect all opinions and learn from them as well. I know what I know and respect what I do not know with input from anyone. I just love this stuff and I learn every day. Marble—On!!
  2. Yep--nice "rainbo"-- Marble--On!!
  3. No name--just a nice Pelt Rainbo imho. Nice find! Marble on!!
  4. Great stuff here Shamrock! Marble--On!!
  5. Pelts imho---the one on the far right is special imho. Nice group--Nice images! Marble--On!!
  6. I would put on the scopes and glue them back together, one little drop at a time weeks on end. I for one discourage anyone trying to bring back any of this type unless they are beyond saving. The nets are hard to bring back to original life---even better is to display then as found—as you show. I just love this stuff. Nice finds here for sure. Nice images--great display as well. Marble—On!!
  7. Show us the box and show us the "Cub-scout". Your mind is not made up--we can help here---for sure. No not feel shy or overwhelmed--we see this stuff all day long and rarely judge any opinion from any collector—new or old. I just love this stuff---we all do. Marble—On!!
  8. Nice images for sure--very nice! This one is a WVS--no doubt. I just suck at wvs ID and hope to see some more opinions. Marble--On!!
  9. Well-- I would call this on a WVS--not a Jabo--more than likely an Alley Agate. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  10. Is that big white chunk glass? That big moon blow-out has me guessing. Lets ask @Alan for his advice here. ( I am thinking from England on this one) Marble--On!!
  11. NTS or "not too shabby"--nice marbles for sure!! The first one gets my clicks going---very nice finds --both of them. Marble--On!!
  12. Your images do not suck at all--just crop them a bit. This one is a WVS--no doubt--probably an Alley Agate. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  13. Just very nice images--very nice--Thanks for that. Just a "killer" Akro Slag. Marble--On!!
  14. What @Ric says for sure, Take these out in the sunlight and repost them--one looks "special". Marble--On!!
  15. X2 Vacor? Consider Champion here. Marble--On!!
  16. This is a cool one--measure up the images and give us some clearer images. I like this one--it does not look common to me. I think that @Ric has this one nailed. Nice marble--lets see some more of this one. Marble--On!!
  17. Show the box is my request--nice marbles! The box is even better. Marble--On!!
  18. I agree wth @Ric, The second one appears to be an Alley Agate with oxblood. The third one I think is a Vacor it reminds me of the "Swamp Thing Cateye" That Vacor made. The rest of your images are too dark for me to get involved with. You have it going here--just adjust and look before you post---- Marble--On!!
  19. I do not want to step in here--great discussion--keep it clean though. Naming individuals that you may not agree with has no point in this conversation. I know what the OG in this post is—a great marble—probably pre WW2. The “very early” Akros were slags. Nuff said. Marble—On!!
  20. Yep--they are both foreign imho. I think from some Asian country—not Mexico. They are nice marbles regardless of the ID—just not made in the good ole USA. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  21. Welcome Montina64 To "themarbleconnection". I wish you well in your endevour. Marble--On!!
