  1. Consider Alley Agate "Carnival" here. Peltier did not own the market with blowholes--they may have been the best at it though. Marble--On!!
  2. Tracer is a term that was coined by the "King of Peltier" Gino Biffany (rip). He worked as a phone tech and these white lines that followed the other colored paths of a Rainbo reminded him of the wires that he worked with--they were called "Tracers". Some of the wires had solid colored stripes some had a different colored lines that were side by side with the original color. Generally a "Peltier Tracer" has white lines that are married to another color. Some may be weak but some may have the white follow all of the colors around the marble entirely. They are just a "Fancy Rainbo" but pretty hard to find. Marble--On!!
  3. I would call it a slag but not from the big four.( CAC, Akro, Peltier and CAC ) "Black"marbles come in a brown base, a base such as yours, deep amber, a very dark green color and of course black which is the rarest find imho. There are some colors that I may have missed such as blue. They look black in hand for sure--"backlight them all" is my motto. It may just be an Alley Agate. Good job--great marble! Marble--On!!

    Hey all

Good job Pieces! MK is what I see here. Marble--On!!
  5. Odd for sure Melissa! I have never seen these before. Are they Glass? KateSo? Lets ask @Mojo for an opinion here. I love the weird and cool. @Al Oregon is another that has held some pretty weird marbles in his life. I am bumfrickled here. Nice find--Whatever these are. If you are a seller post them please. Marble--On!!
  6. I think that Melissa is right on here. This is a big one no doubt. It reminds me of a "Buttermilk"--the base glass. They did not all come out perfect after all. We all see the images on the web or in books but with a few exceptions most folks will not waste time posting "What may be or what may have been". @Fire1981 and I will post crappy, beat up marbles, but we love them all and we are not ashamed to admit it. I love a good "crappy marble"--they were all mint at one time or another. Marble--On!!
  7. So--these came from a swamp?? Marble--On!!
  8. Size always matters. Nice marble and I think that Mellisa is right on. Marble--On!!
  9. Consider this my marble collecting friends. A Vacor Atmosphere crossed with another Vacor Atmosphere. I may be mental here🤪but it does line up in my world at least. This is a very cool marble!! I do look and consider all of what is posted here at the Marble Connection. This one is not all that old--but very cool imho.. Marble--On!!
  10. I looked a long hard time at this one and I put it through my image software. I have never seen one like it before. The size is the thing here--it does remind me of some marbles that were made in Europe, but it is pretty small. Lets call in @Mojo for an opinion. It is a pretty cool marble imho. Marble—On!!
  11. Nice images for sure. They are both MK--the blue on the left one is very nice and deep. The white on both of these is--just--well Killer. I am not a name guy and I appreciate any and all considerations here. Marble--On!!
  12. Ohhh-this is a nice one! I think that it it is an Alley Agate. Lets call in @cheese for an opinion here. Cheese has a book coming out in the next few months (with help) regarding WVS and he will always be my go to regarding these nice weird finds. Marble--On!!
  13. There are a few companies that made these "Matt" finished marbles. Vacor is known for these. Never waste a marble and most of the Vacor were given this finish because the intitial marble was out of sorts. They tumbled them and sold them as such. This one is not a Vacor. I would consider this one as a "Beach Marble" and it may be from the Great Lakes region. It is a WVS that took some sand "polishing". There are folks that Collect these. Nice find imho! Marble--On!!
  14. They are Vitro-swamp lot??? I would love to hear the history here---pretty cool imho. Marble--On!!
  15. These are a hard find, the ones that have great coverage. These "frit" Marbles took some effort to make and if you find some good ones it is worth the effort. @Alan may have some more info on this type. Marble--On!!
  16. I would jump on this one for sure schmoozer. Marble-On!!
  17. That Pink one is very hard to find--Love it. Marble--On!!
  18. There is a "Muddy" The far left one. You have some nice images here. The green and white one kinda in the middle right is a very nice example of a Pelt something. "Pink Panther" is a new term for me at least. Point this one out Tommy and lets get it on. Marble--On!!
  19. I would get back in contact with the seller. Someone found a "Navarre" dig site imho. Nice finds-go after it like a Golden Lab chases birds for more info( just do not get wet). Of course, share what you find here--these are special. Marble--On!!
  20. Welcome to the club on this one Cheese. It is cool , it is old, but who made it is still up for grabs. Marble--On!!
  21. I do not blame the seller--this is a tuff one. I would have to see it in hand to make a call here. Vacor Serpents VS Peltier. This is a close call. I would be a weak Pelt and a strong Vacor. I would stay away at this price. Marble--On!!
  22. I just wonder about this one. Is there any history that you can share with us? If @Melissa looks very hard she may agree with me. The size is right the colors are right. Lets see some more input here. A mystery marble that may be a one of one. Vacor--but what name? Marble--On!!
  23. It is a Rainbo---with a stripe of metallic stuff. Not too special but a good find--I can tell that you are looking very closeley. Nice job-- great images--- Marble--On!!
  24. akroorka

    Akro?

The bright green stripe throws me off a bit as far as Akro is concerned. I would shy away from MK with this one. Have you considered Peltier or Master? More images are needed here imho. Marble--On!!
