  1. Akro sounds right on to me--great marble---nice slag!! Marble--On!!
  2. Vacor "Octopus" imho. This one just lines up as a Vacor with all of the classics traits--"orange peel, "folds" and so-on. This is a pretty nice big one that seems to be well involved with the colors. Marble--On!!
  3. Pelt Rainbo imho---- Marble--On!!
  4. This one is a WVS imho😁. Marble--On!!
  5. I am sure that we all have our faves that you show here—this is quite a collection of about 120 years or so in difference in age. Image two gets me going—I would love to see some more images. Image #24 also needs a better look imho. Marble--On!!
  6. Hmm, I am a little surprised that no one mentioned "Liberty" here. I will--weak but cool! Marble--On!!
  7. Cool stuff Fire--Thanks for sharing it! Marble--On!!
  8. Welcome "not a guy". There are probably more "not guys" collecting marbles today than guys. I would venture to say that most of yours are close to or over 100 years old. You have a great collection there already. I would frame this bunch in memory of folks past. Marble--On!!

    A few more

The hand made is pretty cool--I had to take a step back when I saw this one. I agree with Fire here-new--not vintage. A vintage handmade lutz in these colors is pretty rare. The other is just a common chinese made marble imho. Marble--On!!
  10. I agree nice eye Fire--What is that crud? A little Laquer thiner will clean it up with out damage to the glass. It could be some some of that stickey stuff used to hold an object down during an earthquake. I have found a few "Filled" marbles in my lifetime. There is a liquid substance that fills glass and makes it look hole--I think that yours is a harmless hold down substance-- Very nice "Brick!! along with the rest of them--the first one puzzles me a bit. This one along with the rest are hand made imho. @Chad G. may have some insight here. Marble--On!!
  11. Yes, a cool Rainbo with what is generally described as "Furnace" brick imbedded in it. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  12. Well---- this is my response--I respect all opinions and hope to see some more. These are "Beach" marbles that were found in either in one of the Great Lakes or an Ocean---on the beach. Cool find! Marble--On!!
  13. Sometimes you just find a special Rainbo Fire. I think that is what you have here. Marble--On!!
  14. MCS is a great call here--- Marble--On!!
  15. Image # 4&5 are my faves here. You have quite a mix listed here. 4 and 5 show a well used Agate—the stone type. The little round marks are hit marks from play. This one busted up plenty of glass marbles in it’s day. A real keeper for me at least. Backlight this one and be rewarded---very cool find! Marble—On!!
  16. Akro patch--agreed--are those sparkles of AV in the black? Very cool if so. Marble--On!!
  17. Consider a Vacor Octopus here--just sayin. Marble--On!!
  18. Yes--nothing special here--except for the cool yellow. I like it and if you do--that is what matters. Marble--On!!
  19. This one is a Jabo from the "runs". Pretty nice looking from one side--that is all that we need--round is round and there is usually a good side😁. Marble--On!!
  20. Purple or pink in a vintage marble such as yours is a rare thing to find. This one is a "keeper". Marble--On!!
  21. This one does show some fire----opalescent glass. @Fire1981 may be right on here. Marble--On!!
  22. It is a big cool Rainbo--maybe some oxblood involved?. A rare find for sure. Marble--On!!
  23. This one is not a Pelt--good eye though--it is close. A WVS is what you have here--probably an Alley Agate. Marble--On!!
  24. "Back in Black" I wear the t-shirt with pride. Rock --On!!
  25. Ummm--I know what you are thinking here. This one is a WVS imho. As always, I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Lets ask @cheese for an opinion. Marble--On!!
