This is probably a Vitro. I have seen Vitro "Caged Cats" with these colors involved. You could call it a cat or a swirl but these bigger ones never acted the same (.90) right? I would not be surprised to find this one in a mix of similar Vitro Cats. Nice find--good ask, Nice images!!! All opinions are appreciated and welcomed. Marble--On!

I see it and it has a scratch behind it. I have a great imagination so bear with me. This one may have a glancing blow from a "Steelie". Or maybe someone bounced it on the basement floor during the winter months. I think that it is a hit mark--e-nuf said from me. Not a big deal--just not mint. Marble--On!!

Well, I looked at a bit. I would call it a Peltier Bannana--well used of coarse. Peltier Bannanas have some of the best ever produced crystal clear base glass. Marble--On!!

More than likely, you have a Vitro here. A Catseye. We used to call these "hybrid" or somehing like that but they were made on purpose this way in a multude of colors and combinations. Imho--some of the best cats every made--probably early 60'S. I have not seen one like yours before but that is not too hard to imagine. The colors in these run the whole spectrum and they show some greatt clear glass. A very nice marble to collect--you will never run out of color combos. @Al Oregon has many bags of these I am sure--they seem to have packaged them with the same colors in my experience--or maybe I am thinking of the caged types?? Another great cat to collect. Marble--On!!

Hmmm? No Gentleman owns a Lady imho--just sayin🚫. I know what you meant--just double check your posts please. I would stay away. I do not collect old"Germans" but this may be a newer "German" imho. The bubbles in the white--all new to me-never seen it before. Marble--On!!

Five vanes here Alta. Your last image confirms this. It is a nice example--but pretty common, Marble--On!!

OK, this brings back some memories. I agree with Cereal box. Good gracious, could you imagine biting on to this on the way to school--in the morning when you were dead tired? They were more than likely encased in "cellopane"but who knew? Outch for sure! You did your due dillagence and weighed it--good job.I applaud your efforts here. No need for a pin prick--you have this one nailed--what fun it must have been for you! I just love great research--- Marble--On!!

I can see why you called it Mexican--the size. That is a big one for sure. The quality of the glass makes me agree with Melissa X2. I would not venture a guess on the country of origin. Marble--On!!

I agree with Vacor, the white in this marble screams Vacor! I cannot name it though. Nice marble--orange is cool in any marble. (nice images) Marble--On!!

This one may be a Japenese product. Lets call in @shiroaiko and @YasudaCollector for an opinion here. They both know their stuff for sure. Marble--On!!

I am thinking Imperial here. I see some remnants of an iridescent finish on this one. Imperial was/is? A west coast USA company that imported toys etc from mostly Asian countries—too many to name. Vacor from Mexico was involved as well. As I recall, the iridescent finish was applied while the marbles were on the rollers with some type of “spray” involved—I cannot remember what type of spray was involved. I am not a big fan of this finish but—a Vacor “Wavebreaker” twists my eye quite a bit. Marble—On!!

I like it too. I have never seen one like it before. So it is 5/8"?. Your last image (all are great by the way, thanks for that) shows a seam that probably goes all around this cute little orb, cutting it in half--kinda. It was made in a "bullet mold" imho. @Al Oregon may have seen these before, lets give him a call. Nice marble, cool find! Marble--On!!

Mica is to old German handmades as Aventurine is to more modern machine mades Wolf. Mica is generally a larger version of the flakes. This is no rule though--some of the gold Mica can be quite tiny--and sparkly. Marble--On!!

Jennifer, if you like it--so do I. I have no problem with calling this one an Akro Purple slag. You did a great job with the images and I for one appreciate that. You Keep on Keeping on here @TheMarbleConnection. I appreciate your stuff as many do here. Marble--On!!

Wolf, your first one, if it is being passed off as a CAC--it is a fake. Otherwise--just a nice marble that someone tried to copy a CAC form. The second one-is very nice and I agree with CAC here. Marble--On!!

My favorite saying is-"Backlight them all"--good job by all here. Excellant ID! Marble--On!!

I have little doubt that this one is a Peltier Rainbo. Of course, I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!

You posted great images of the cut marks--this makes it way easier to ID. The left is a Master Made imho. The rest, Melissa has covered pretty well. Marble--On!!

You post great images--keep it up! The second one has me puzzled a bit--- nice clear old --very nice glass. The others are basic MK or Marble Kings--you will find plenty of these over the years Marble--On!!

I cannot ID the first one--it is not a Pelt imho. The second one is just a "killer" Vitro. I would call it a "Trilite" for some reason. The yellow in these Vitro types are just top notch--love it! Marble--On!!

Any Macine made marble that you can hold in your hand like an egg is more than likely a Vacor. Vacor is the absolute Master of the larger sized marbles. I would not place any age on these. I like them--just beware of fold or seam marks--this woud be a negative as far as I am concerned. You have a nice group of Vacors here. Marble--On!!

Aye Eye "AI' will never get marbles lol. So funny but true. Al Oregon has this one nailed. Bennigtons-(bennies) are hard to pass up. The little dots are a result of them being stacked together during the firing process in the kiln. I love these and always have. They come quite big—over an inch and quite small-under 5/8”. These are the Chickadee’s of marble collecting and I have never met one who does not like them. They are just too common to collect—unless you are me—I just luve-em. Marble—On!!

I agree with Al here. The purple one has me mesmerized though. Purples and Pinks in glass marbles as colors go--are a hard find. Just off the cuff, I would call it a "Bogard and Sons Company” marble. @cheese has a good handle on WVS. Perhaps he will help out here. Nice images! Marble—On!!

X2-- some of these are showing quite clear and beutiful clear glass. Just and indicater of well thought out and and well cooked glass. (well cooked meaning that they--the marble makers, took the extra time to make the clear glass in this instance--without bubbles included). Marble--On!!
