  1. The second one is a killer Vitro--very nice indeed. The first one makes my Pelt hairs stand up but lets wait for more opinions on that one. Nice marbles for sure! Marble--On!!
  2. Yes wowzers for sure--the purple in this type can be quite anemic. Marble--On!!
  3. That is "Horsehair" oxblood. The maker?? More than likely Alley Agate but I will wait for more opinions. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  4. This one is an Akro Cork--no doubt in my mind. "Prizename" A nice bunch of purple in this one, This type will vary quite a bit. A real nice example. Marble--On!!
  5. It is a pretty hue of orange. A WVS of some sort. It could be one of many imho. I will defer to the WVS experts here. Nice marble-- Marble--On!!

Size matters Mojo. This is just a killer marble. Not a Jabo imho. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  7. Well it snowed again today and the Buck was there yesterday morning. This is a nice Whitetail “Scrape” about 35 yards behind my house. It does stink—oh boy. Gun season starts this weekend—I hope that I see him. I stopped hunting but my blood still boils when I see this stuff. Mmmmm Venison roast. We have had a three legged doe around for about seven years. Twins every year and triplets last year—she got hit by a car again and died in the neighbors back yard—the end of an era----RIP Three leg! I took my granddaughter out to look at the scrape last night under a flash light. 7 years old and full of what was going on with it. I was almost embarrassed. The apples do not fall far from the much older trees—LOL.
  8. This one came from Ohio imho. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Nice marble!! Marble—On!!

What is the history behind this name--very classy--nice marble as well. Marble--On!!
  10. This is to cool to not share. An Oxblood looking and Yellow “Stone Agate”. Yes, it was not the very finest polish job--- (notice the imbedded polishing compound---this will show up in polished machine made marbles as well as some antique Germans) It is just a very nice Agate regardless. Notice the color variations on either side of the fracture which cuts this marble in half—very cool. It is just over ¾” and I would not change a thing. Marble—On!!
  11. Nice marble Jzoook6--get out the Bratwurst!! (I believe that there should be a marble named "Bratwurst"---or "Bratwurst and Sauerkraut"---even better) Marble--On!!
  12. And you are right. All of the "Cub-Scouts"have a very deep blue with a very nice deep yellow included--no matter the maker. Marble--On!!
  13. Not a "Helmet". It may be a MK. Lets wait and see what the others have to say. I appreciate all input. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  14. @wvrons So---- a six hole Vitro "Plug"?? I wonder what marbles rolled past this contraption--cool beans! Marble--On!!

  18. It is a beautiful slag. Size matters with these for sure. Probably an Akro. Nice images and a very nice marble. Marble—On!!
  19. Keep on trying my marble collecting friend--it will all come together before you know it. The first two are Vitro and the last is a MK. These are just mho and all opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  20. This explains a lot--The difference in Akro corks for instance- the fire/furnace was always going and the glass colors continued to change. They keep it going to keep it going—production was the word. Love it Ron--good explanation.
