I posted a few yesterday and this one received some attention so here goes! I put my scopes on for this post. This one is just over ¾”—out of round with “crowd marks” like a Bennington. I measured the marks and they are all over the place so I will call them fire marks or crowded marks as opposed to them sitting on a devise made for firing, it did not meet any rollers. I thought that it felt light weight wise so I compared it to a “Benny” the same size—it was the same—in grams. This marble has what I would call a light glaze for a finish. Ric spotted the “20” mark—good eye—I missed it (We all know that @Ric looks closely but that was spectacular) I missed it. It is just part of the over color or striping—quite cool really! You are seeing all four sides—Thanks and---- Marble—On!!

If that is oxblood it could be an Akro "Milkie", they were all over the place with coverage from a tad to a lot. Marble--On!!

Just as a follow up--That helmet on the far right is just killer with what looks like Kokomo-Lipstick red--just Killer!! This is my first in this color combo--love it--it really lights up in hand. Marble--On!!

It was actually raining today so I took some time to sort through some recent purchases. Take your time—Winter is coming—. I am sure that you can tell my fave—the Akro yellow Ox patch---a pretty hard find—for me at least. The three whites in a row are all old hand-made. There were some very similar clays that were included with this bunch—Watch for these—they do resemble machine made game marbles—just a tad out of round for the most part. The bigger clay at the top—I cannot remember—either I was warned about them or at the very least informed—. The top left is a Vitro “Cosmic Rainbow” the one to the lower left of it—I do not know—a WVS for sure is all that I can say. Yep-- a Popeye showed up in the mix as well as a nice Vitro to the left of it. The two far left are Vitro Cats in GB Packers colors—after a 17 point comeback this week-end—who can blame me---😁 Funny what you can find when you really look—take your time and collect—these all came with pouches that I bid for with the exception of the yellow ox patch—the rest are all a bonus. Put your specs on, use a nice light and take your time!! I know that Fire does-follow his example--just take your time!!! If you need any further images—just ask--- I just love this stuff!!—Just love it!! Marble—On!!

Compare the colors to a blue Pelt Banana--could it be one that floated on the surface--?? Marble—On!!

Nice marble Fire. The base looks blue to me—instead of clear glass. Of course that Popeye with the trans yellow base that glows I have always considered a “Popeye”. I would nestle this one in with my Popeyes, not being sure just what to call it. Where else should it go? Marble—On!!

This is a tuff one,the images are too bright. I tried to adjust them with little luck--this one is a WVS no doubt. More opinions and images are needed. Marble on my fellow collector--nice marble! (if this one is not an Alley--well I do suck at WVS ID) Marble--On!!

The blow holes are not too common with Akro marbles--pretty rare really. I suggest that another maker may be have to looked into. It is a big one for sure so that narrows it down----CAC? Marble--On!!
