  1. Vacor makes a similar marble called “Liberty”. I would compare it just to make sure. Vacor marbles can be all over the place construction wise. Marble—On!!
  2. Very nice, I have never even heard a whisper of one of those in existence. Thanks for sharing it! Marble—On!!
  3. Idiot may be taking it a bit far, mixed up fits in quite well with the rest of us here---sometimes anyhow. Here is a pair of images of a handmade “clearie”, Notice the stretch of the bubbles and the swirl action of the glass. The pontils are quite noticeable as well. Use this for reference vs yours. Marble—On!!
  4. Try some black(UV) light on the postage date stamp Jason W, it may reveal something hidden. Marble--On!!
  5. 1911 - 1914, the Akron era. ( this is a quote from Steph in the link that I posted earlier). It does not get much better than this. Steph is the research person to go to in the world of collectable machine made marbles. “Stephs Study Hall” is a work of art that will be appreciated for many years to come. The pit bull of research is she. It is an Antique box and it may be one of one that has survived. Thanks again for sharing it with the world. Marble—On!!
  6. I think this one is an Akro. All opinions are welcomed and needed. Marble—On!!
  7. Here is a link, I think I found your marble. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Toy-Marbles-Glass-Marble-Wholesale-Cheap_1600132768893.html?spm=a2700.galleryofferlist.normal_offer.d_title.50604b89u8a55I&s=p Marble—On!!
  8. I am far from an expert regarding Champion Furnace Swirls but the following page has me thinking that there may be a few in the OP. https://www.westvirginiaswirls.com/champion What do you all think?? Marble—On!!
  9. The second one in the OP reminds me of some of those dark “Contract Run” Marbles that need intense light on them just to see the colors. Japanese pincher game marble I would say on the green one. Size matters. Marble—On!!
  10. I am not feeling Pelt here, MK maybe though. More opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  11. I feel safe calling this one a Vitro. I am not too good at names but I will trow "Tigereye" out there to see if it sticks. All opinions are welcomed. Marble--On!!
  12. The depth and color of this marble is what makes me lean MFC. These are great images and they certainly remind me of some of those “Really big MFC” slag marbles. Any images would be appreciated---of some of those “Big ones”. Sadly, mine have been traded or sold (I knew that I should have not, but money was tight back then). Yes this is a seller’s/trader’s remorse. I had a few great ones back then🎻. Marble-On!!
  13. I would love to see some more images of the"Greens"---the solid colored ones. Marble--On!!
  14. Sorry I missed saying that---Welcome and keep coming back! Marble--On!!

I agree, it looks like a Vitro to me also. Marble--On!!
  16. This might help you out. Steph has done some great research in the study hall. https://marbleconnection.com/topic/10676-akro-timeline/#comments Your box is very early imho. It is very cool to see oxbloods mixed in with slags. The marbles appear to be hand-gathered. The address is the thing here. It is a very cool and old box, thanks for sharing it. Check out the marbles folks--are some of these MFC? As always all opinions are needed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  17. Thanks ann---good info. The Akro "with a girl" box also has metal reinforcement on the corners. These are earlier imho than the ones with just boys on the top. Marble--On!!
  18. Hmmm, I think that this one would fit in nicely with my MFC marbles. As always all opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  19. I am OK with this being an Akro. The darker streaks are pollution from production—no oxblood is evident. All opinions are welcomed and needed. Marble—On!!
