Machine made marbles have been polished for some time. I urge you all to research how marbles are polished and take heed when looking at what you may have purchased. They are showing up today in groups/lots of marbles and many sellers do not even know what they have been selling. This is just a simple primer and I hope to see some more examples posted. In the early days the polishers tried to make the best, just like the Polishers of old āGermansā. This was a fail because you could literally see what was done with the matrix being out of wack. Today, if you do not use a high powered lupe or headlamp, it will be hard to tell. I find a few using my macro camera under flash. Look for different directions of micro scratches, half polished moons and facets along with a dull finish. These are all very hard to determine in hand. The Brick that I am showing, I decided to keep just because it has a big chunk of iron in it which actually will pull towards a magnetāvery cool imho. The Master came in a large lot and I just thought that it was a killer Master until my camera told me different. The Sparkler was misrepresented much to the sellers surprise and I received a refund. WHATTT??? People will try to rip you OFFFFF!!! Lets get real, it has been going on for as long as we were human. Collectors are brothers and sisters---family! Marble On my family!!

Well to be quite honest, my first thought was āis that a āHoney Onyxāāvery coolā. I have not researched them enough to make a call. I am surprised to see the claim of them all being ābiggerā. I always figured that they were 5/8ā. More input on these is needed hereāI know my pelts but I am in a conundrum on these. All opinions are needed here. MarbleāOn!!

Here is an Akro Cork on a Akro candlestick holder---It would not lightāI tried! Happy Birthday!! MarbleāOn

I will just mention Vacor here. If the base glass is green, it could be a āGreen Parrotā. MarbleāOn!!

I think that it is a Pelt Rainbo. Marble--On!! -
I do not think that it is an Akroāmaybe a Vitroāmore likely a WVS that go a little āglobbyā. Follow the purple streak. All opinions are welcomed and needed. MarbleāOn!!

Left to right. Akro Peltier ābee familyā Akro with some odd Jabo traits All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Nice group, MarbleāOn!!

These are Master Glass āBrushed glassā white on blue and these are the ones that I believe are in question vs the OP. I do not recall seeing a āMaster Madeā blue based with white marble in a āCometā or any other āMaster Madeā named marble made before they purchased Akro. As said before this week by one of our bestāāthey are marblesā and anything can happen. Vitro made these dark blue with white, with this big glob of amorphous white opaque stringy glass with a few different colors of transparent based glassādanged if I can remember the nameābut they had one. As always, all opinions are welcomed and appreciated---needed as well. MarbleāOn!!

Nice marble--size matters--does it glow under uvš. Marble--On!!

I see no Akro or Master here, I would sort all three as Vitro's. All opinions are welcomed. Marble--On!!
