  1. If you have any images that you are willing to share of some classic cut lines or traits of a particular manufacturer of the little orbs that we are all addicted to. Please do so. I was doing some sorting today and found this little orb. I did not think that it was an Akro until I really looked hard. The cut lines are classic Akro and the little eyelashes are a trait that others may have but always will point towards Akro. This is not a common one but research paid off. Give us your best examples of any that you have and lets makes this a great thread. Marble—On!!
  2. Nice find Mojo (what is up with the lion profile image?) Marble--On!!
  3. This one bugs me. It is just over 5/8”. I hand it just sparkles with AV( it really sparkles). It was loaded with white crap that I would expect to find in a dug marble and I was able to brush most of it off with a toothbrush. The first image shows a buried cutline right through the middle (bottom right to top left). The second image shows what looks like a raised dense green but it is also a cutline and the green in the base glass. The green is very dense opaque. The third image shows the best of the AV that I could get, it just went away under flash. I know that everyone will think that this is a Vacor. I need some deeper looks and thoughts on this one. Thanks and Marble—On!!
  4. Here is an oddball to enjoy. I posted it about a year ago but it is worth another look. Marble--On!!

This is what Akro called corkscrews--spirals--am I wrong?? I have seen them labeled as such in 100 count boxes. Marble--On!!
  18. I am guessing the size at 5/8'-11/16'---I think that is an older example. Nice clear base glass—Not an Akro or Master imho. One big cutline that I can see. A few bubbles for sure---and a few dimples as well—Not CAC imho--- Pelt—final answer. ( a weird one for sure) Nice marble regardless. All opinions are needed!!—and welcomed!! Marble—On!!

I doubt that Akro had a name for this one. I have seen them listed as "Rootbeer"--I like it. Hmmmm a nice A&W sounds good right now. Marble--On!!
  20. Welcome Beansgood (I agree--just love beans--all types😁) As some advice to a seller--not worth your while. I you have a cool low priced jar or vessel to display them in--that will work. 95% of the are Mexican made Vacor marbles, there are a few asian cateyes invloved. I would pass at $10 for the bunch but as a decorative item you may be surprised, depends on the vessel holding them. Marble--On!!
  21. This one is cool William. It may be a coprolite---look it up💩 Folks used to travel out west and pick up many things that you would be fined for today. We have a lot of petrified wood that we picked up at rummage sales. Nice find
