What is the history behind this name--very classy--nice marble as well. Marble--On!!
  2. This is to cool to not share. An Oxblood looking and Yellow “Stone Agate”. Yes, it was not the very finest polish job--- (notice the imbedded polishing compound---this will show up in polished machine made marbles as well as some antique Germans) It is just a very nice Agate regardless. Notice the color variations on either side of the fracture which cuts this marble in half—very cool. It is just over ¾” and I would not change a thing. Marble—On!!
  3. Nice marble Jzoook6--get out the Bratwurst!! (I believe that there should be a marble named "Bratwurst"---or "Bratwurst and Sauerkraut"---even better) Marble--On!!
  4. And you are right. All of the "Cub-Scouts"have a very deep blue with a very nice deep yellow included--no matter the maker. Marble--On!!
  5. Not a "Helmet". It may be a MK. Lets wait and see what the others have to say. I appreciate all input. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  6. @wvrons So---- a six hole Vitro "Plug"?? I wonder what marbles rolled past this contraption--cool beans! Marble--On!!
  7. Ok--size matters in these as well--over-looked by me. Study on!!
  8. I hear ya Ron but I will keep on tryin😁. Marble--On!!
  9. A Rainbo imho. No NLR here imho. The Peltheads will correct me if I am wrong for sure and I will appreciate it. Nice looking marble! Marble—On!!
  10. It is a beautiful slag. Size matters with these for sure. Probably an Akro. Nice images and a very nice marble. Marble—On!!
  11. Keep on trying my marble collecting friend--it will all come together before you know it. The first two are Vitro and the last is a MK. These are just mho and all opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  12. This explains a lot--The difference in Akro corks for instance- the fire/furnace was always going and the glass colors continued to change. They keep it going to keep it going—production was the word. Love it Ron--good explanation.
  13. This one is just over ¾”. A nice NLR I thought until I took a few shots with the camera—is that AV---what--?? I put it under the heavy eye helpers and indeed it is—I never saw it—the camera caught it—pretty cool. Blue and silver AV!! Macro rocks! Marble—On!!
  14. Ummm---I agree Jabo on the far right. The left two?? WVS imho. Marble--On!!
  15. I would agree. These type in Peltier are not filled with bubbles--just a nice smooth grey. I could be wrong but these are my observations. Marble--On!!
  16. I would pay $20 but I Have just started looking😁. Alley on!!
  17. The one that I have circled in red is what I would call a nice “Buttermilk” Vitro—very nice. The bigger one to the right is a Vitro as well—this one needs more images. The cateye is more than likely a Master Marble—nice clear glass—it looks “hard”. The two patches still have me puzzled—Maybe Vitro. The other one----green based with orange???---WVS?? More opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble—On!!

Not a slag imho a WVS. Not a Champion or CAC imho. Nice one--Size does matter. Marble--On!!
  19. Well--lucky me. I just recieved a copy of the "Alley Agate Company" Marbles and pressed glass Hardcover book earlier this week. It is a great book. Based on what I have researched--yours is an Alley William. Nice find. Of course all opinions are welcomed. Maybe @wvrons will chime in here--I hope so. He has a nice collection and was a major contributer to the book. Alley On!!
  20. Not a Pelt imho or a Vacor. WVS of some sort--very cool---alley?? Marble--On!!
