  1. These are not Flinties, they are asian marbles and they may be called “pinchers” regarding the cutoff marks. More opinions are needed here. Marble—On!!
  2. This one looks like a red Flintie to me, nice find. I have some 7/8” Flinties and I do not know right off hand if they came any larger. The Akro tin box #200 commonly held eight ¾”Flinties and the smaller #150 tin could be found with four ¾” Flinties and five smaller ones at 5/8" or 11/16". They would be found in the edge of the tin or between the inserts and not in the inserts. The “Akro Flinties” square boxes held up to 13/16”. I love em all! Marble—On!!
  3. "Glazed China"? These may have been produced in Germany. More opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  4. I see a Vitro Cateye on the top and a Pelt rainbo on the bottom. Nice marbles, All opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  5. x3, nice find! Marble--On!!
  6. Thie size narrows it down pretty much. Nice Akro imho. More comments are always welcomed. Marble--On!!
  7. I can see where some confusion could set in, they are very similar to Pelts. Nice ones! Marble--On!!
  8. Nice marbles Mojo. Are they still being produced? Love em! Marble--On!!
  9. It seems to me that I have seen a foil box with “Champion Assortment” printed on it—in a different font though. I cannot recall any numbers on the box. It might have been in an old Morphy auction. I used to swim through those pages quite a bit. I have not seen your box before. The paper that wraps it reminds me of the Peltier 224 and 220 boxes. They water stain just like that. Marble—On!!
  10. Yep!! They come non-better!😁 Marble--On!!
  11. OK Chad—if you really want to go there I am up for it. This one is scary--I love it!
  12. Embrace the Akro and be happy!
  13. This is not quite yellow my marble collecting friend—light amber I would call it. CAC made a Yellow slag with a very yellow base. Compare them and see what I mean. I do not know why yellow was so hard to achieve in a transparent base but it is rare. I will agree that this one is a WVS however. The maker. I suck at WVS ID. Marble—On!!
  14. Slags do what they want to Jeremysvt. A positive on a slag is a hard thing to do and a hard thing to explain. It is more of a feel than an ID. This one may be a Pelt, a CAC a MFC--but I will still call Akro on this one. I want them all to be Akro Agates so I am not always right 50-50 would be good for anyone with an ID of slags imho.(with a few exceptions) yes, I know, Akro made millions of these and most are Akro. Any and all opinions are always welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  15. I really hope that you get a good ID on this one--it is a great one. Marble--On!!
  16. Your images are great Jeremysvt but I will still call this one an Akro. CAC marbles are a hard find in any form. You will get one sooner or later. All opinions are welcomed and needed. Marble--On!!
  17. OOOOh, a great example of slag vs swirl here Jeremysvt! I want this one to be a slag—an Akro slag—does it have any reaction to UV light? I think that it is a swirl-------WVS also. Maker. Nice marble! Marble—On!!
  18. Did Sammies Mountain Marbles make anything without "Gliittz"? I would love to know. They are some nice marbles the SMM but the ones that I see always have some glittz to them. Marble--On!!
  19. Here is one for the gardeners out there. I plant for Butterflies and still have success. Marsh Milkweed is shown here .(I would love to find a marble with these colors) The second is an image of my small pond with “Comets” a really hardy Goldfish often sold as feeder fish. These are about 8 years old; I keep them in a 100 gallon Rubbermaid tank in the basement over the winter—very tuff fish, very cheap as well. Great pets—really great.
  20. Yes, Emma has a blow out in her hair---just Pelt stuff as far as I am concerned—I am a bottom feeder after all. I need a few more of this type to fill a numbered repo box. Not fussy-me, and I trade well. Private message me if you have a bad one to give up. Marble—On!!
  21. Well, Hmmm, That is a new term to me but the classic Akro cutoff marks do look like at the very least like a fingernail---size matters I suppose. Akro made some that could be considered as toe nails--Big Toe mind you! Marble—On!!
  22. Here is anothe"Lady" of some sort. I never did get a good ID on this one. No Opal, so I think that it may be a "Clear Lady"--not so sure though---Alley for sure! Marble--On!!
  23. Lady Tator. (I just love that name) Marble—On!!
  24. This is a good sign that they were melted, stretched, pulled, cut and made from a cane of glass. Marble--On!!
  25. Hmmm, first of all—Great images! The first one is a Jabo in my opinion. I can see why you might think that the blue and white is an Akro marble but I am just not getting the right vibe here. I want them to all be Akro—really I do. WVS imho. Size always matters. More opinions are needed and always welcomed. Marble—On!!
