  1. Well it is not a Pelt but there is nothing wrong with a "not too common" Alley or any WVS as far as that goes. Marble--On!!
  2. Nice find! Books are dated and do not take everything as Hoyle. Great start though. Marble--On!!
  3. That is a great marble. Notice the brightness of the white (that is if you can look away from the orange) It may be the tell vs a contemporary made which many torchers have done. Great images! Marble--On!!
  4. Alley Agate. This is an opinion based on my newly aquired book "Alley Agate Company Marbles and Pressed Glass" They may have created a monster here. Marble--On!!
  5. It is a Vitro----Tiger Eye?? All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  6. No chance of it being CAC imho. The first image shows a "Pinch" from the folding of the marble. You can see how it folded in image four the best, just look at the transparent part. The last image shows some dimples in the reddish/orange patch along with a chunk or two of floating green AV. The reddish orange does appear to stretch to a yellow hue. I associate these clues with Pelt more so than Akro. I will concede and say that it may have been intended to be a Rainbo. A fun thread for such a marble to be sure!! This one has been beat to death. Thanks all for keeping this marble ID going regardless of monetary value. Marble--On!!
  7. That is a big one and it may be a Vacor "USA". All opinions are welcomed. Marble--On!!
  8. This is a Pelt Rainbo with damage--cool bubbles and one side looks nice. Marble--On!!
  9. Nice collection Mojo. I cannot wait for the new book. Those older "Wicked Owls" are very nice marbles. Marble--On!!
  10. The pinkish ones and the green and tan ones deserve a better look. They may all be Jabo marbles but those may be a bit special. Marble—On!!
  11. Well now, those are cool images! Not a Jabo--a WVS of some make--older. Marble--On!!
  12. I cannot tell you how many times I have clicked on a sale on ebay thinking that these may be a corkscrew. These are are nice looking marbles. Nuff said! Marble--On!!
  13. It seems to fit quite nicely.( the three above it are Akro👌) Nice find! Marble--On!!
  14. It is not a Jabo, I will leave it there. Marble--On!!
  15. It just seems to me that yellow in a Ravenswood would be strange thing. I agree with Chad either a CAC or a very nice Alley Agate. Marble--On!!
  16. Slag X2. This one is probably an Akro. Some of these red slags do look like they may be orange. Orange slag’s are a reality, so they say, I have never held one but I do keep looking. Marble—On!!
  17. I am pretty sure that Vacor tumbles them. You will see an occasional one with a fold that is still wet. Marble—On!!
  18. I think that you may have a nice big Peltier "Bumble Bee". Killer size and not too common. Search like heck for some AV in the dark parts. All opinions are welcomed and needed. Marble--On!!
  19. This is what I use on rust stains. Good for your teeth and good for your marbles😁. The weaker the better--just a bit of water and a mild scrub wiil do it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z7J0SL0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Marble--On!!
  20. Nice “Turkey Head” on this one! I would leave it alone if it were in my collection. Turkeys show up in many WVS marbles. If this one is just “bad Glass” with no hit marks involved I would say that it is a dug marble. (Hard to tell even with the nice images). I would shy away from CAC and call it a WVS from another maker. It may be an Alley Agate. I appreciate all opinions. Marble—On!!
  21. Yes, more Images for sure. The big Pelts and the big Corkscrews did not always behave very well. Regardless of that---nice looking (nice size) marble!! Marble--On!
  22. This is all that I can add--great images--great looking WVS. Thanks for sharing this one. Marble--On!!
  23. Do you remember these hanging from the light poles? Yes—I saved one—brittle as all gets out. They had Rudolph, Elves, Angels etc in this same format—around three feet wide. I had a spare for parts but a tree took it out in my garage attic—go figure. Preserve what you can and of course-- Merry Christmas.
