They raced Hornets in Nascar in the earlier 50's they made some nice cars. Jets were/are cool for sure. This is what my bro's looked like--not quite as shiny though.

I just call this one "pretty cool" Just a hair under 7/8"

It seemed like a nice day to catch some facets on these. Hand faceted agates--On!!

They can be complex or simple---gotta luv-em.

Nice marbles--Killer car. It reminds me of a 1954 Hudson Hornet that my older brother had back in the 70's. Very Faaaast for the size that it was. Hudson--On!!

Ok, massive 2-1/4 “ glass orbs fit into a heavy chunk of cast iron, they were probably nickel plated on top of that. How did they do this?? They will not budge at all. Tight fit for sure. 100 years old or more. Any insight/opinions is/are welcome. Draw your claws out. Let’s see some more—I know that you have them. How can any marble geek pass on them Marble—On!!! and claw feet on for sure!!

Wow--no response!! I will chime in and call the second one a Vacor "Red Rooster" The first one may be what you think, or a variety of others as well. The colors are not that common. Akro made slags in this color as well but they are not known for large blow holes such as yours. CA has been known to have blow holes. The double?--- cutlines both look like CAC. My opinions for what it is worth. More opinions needed here. Just call them like you see them. Marble--On!!

Awesome, if you can show the complete opposite side of the lower left image it may help anyone with an ID. If it is there already, just point it out. If there is any damage or chips it may help to show these as well. I will have to dig through a few books to see what it may be. Whatever it is, we do not see many like this. Great job once again. Thanks Bruce, I have purchased many chunks of petrified wood and other cool rocks from garage sales etc over the years. The travelers used to pick them up in the old days like we buy hamburgers today. I am glad that a stop was put to it all. What a great looking marble one of those would make. We used to have a "rock shop" in town, I wish that it was still here. That dude knew his rocks and would have been able to ID it on sight. Marble--On!!

Well, you sure did it justice. This is a beautiful collage and very nice images. I wish that I had your touch with imaging. My first corkscrew was a beat up black on white. I still have it because I keep all corkscrews regardless of condition. You have a very nice one there. I remember telling/shouting to my wife “I THINK THAT I FOUND ONE” she confirmed it along with the books that I had at the time. It was and still is a moment to remember for me. Lets cheat some more. This is fun. I think that you may have a Champion furnace marble in there someplace. I have never owned or held one. Marble—On!!

They look legit from here. Ahhhh Ben Franklin, the only place that I ever got ID'd for buying cigs---I was about 32 at the time lol. Marble--On!!!

This almost feels like cheating on a test back in High School---I like it. Image #4 holds the Corkscrew Post the other one in the ID section--I have no clue and would love to see opinions on it. Marble--On!!!

I studied game marbles and solids for a while back when I first started collecting. I found that many are translucent by using a light box that I built back then and still use today. I do believe that many “gamers” or solids can be ID’d this way. They all came off the same rollers and have the same cut-lines as the regular runs. I’ll post an image of it. Marble—On!!

Wow, a really nice bunch of marbles with a bit of everything included. I see a nice Akro Agate transparent orange based corkscrew, a brick, and a double ingot that all catch my eye. My first brick was reason enough to celebrate. My first corkscrew was a revelation that I will never forget, they started popping up for me after that and now I can spot one like an Eagle spots a fish. I have tunnel vision for them now. That multicolored one at 8:00 in Image #4 deserves some more images. That may be the toughest one in the bunch to ID. What is that cool little device that holds them? Have fun getting to know these all. Marble—On!!!

Both are Tracers, The yellow ones are harder to find for me--nice ones!! Marble--On!!!
