Very cool orbs, I would have jumped on them as well. Marble--On!!

The pouch appears to have been made inside out, on the front at least. The popeye pouches are “leatherette” with a smooth leather feel to the outside of the fabric. The inside of the pouch will have more of a fabric look to it. The pouch also has a less commonly seen zig-zag cut to the top rather than the more common scalloped cut. These zig-zag pouches will show a deeper seam thread(deeper into the interior of the pouch) and one that is not so straight and true. Most popeye pouches, the one with the scalloped-cut top, have very nice and neat straight seams. I am not trying to say that this pouch is not the real thing, just an oddity, probably made by a less talented seamstress. If I were interested in this box, I would ask for better images of the pouch, front back and a little shot of the interior as well but that is just me. I would expect to find a smooth side on the inside of this pouch regardless. As far as the box goes, there are no marble bruises/marks on the insert, an indication to me that it probably has not been handled too much. The same seller sold the box in the following link yesterday https://www.ebay.com/itm/154785168896?hash=item2409ea3e00%3Ag%3A%7EmYAAOSwaylh2LcK&nma=true&si=Y0kCk0WZ9%252FF%252BaF9tQHwn5nbhIbY%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Marble—On!!

Ok, this is the second time this week that I had to look up a word between you and Steph. I am just a simple guy growing great stuff in his garden and sometimes finding a marble or two along with it. Greens are about as healty as you can get--my guttug loves them. I will take palindrome as a compliment because that is what I have always been, just ask anyone--LOL. Thanks (akroorka) Try some greens, easy to grow and as healthy as a traf (not quite but close) !

Good job Jeremy, It is a corkscrew. If it is your first ID on one, put it in a special place. This one will open many windows for you in the future. Marble--On!!

Collect Akros long enough and expect to see anything, in any color combo, they are endless and always seem to surprise me to this day. I have so many one--offs that I sometimes think that they ran 100 at a time--lol. This is a hard cullet to ID and your instincts are as close as any may be. Akro--On!!

I really hate to keep going in this direction with blue and yellow swirls. I do not think for one minute that your marble is a CAC. The second one I have no clue. Just check out this link and you may agree. https://www.westvirginiaswirls.com/copy-of-alox-1 I just call them like I see them. A very nice marble--but--- Marble--On!!

Good find Steph, I agree. Marble--On!!

I am not a poem guy, never will be but I sure like gardening. Fact is that I have had so many trees surrounding me decimated by the Emerald Ash borer that my garden will no doubt be the best in years. This is nature, love it or not, I prefer to just get along with it and adjust. I am a tree lover first and a gardener second. I am sad about all of the great Ash trees that have died, too many to count. I had an eighty footer taken down this week, what a tree it was, a greater danger to the house however. If you really like gardening, check out his link. The best seeds in large quantities that I have found. https://growitalian.com/shop-seeds/ This Chard will be the best greens that you have ever grown. Grow them, cut them, and grow them cut them, all from one planting, year round without bolting right up to frost and a little beyond. I had 20 Lbs blanched and frozen last year out of two 10 foot rows. I do not include the stalks---not for me. Use them like you would spinach, or any other green. https://www.growitalian.com/chard-verde-de-taglio-certified-organic-14-1b/ There is nothing like dirt in the fingernails! (I do find marbles in the garden, I wonder who planted them)

Well, It certainly has attributes of a "furnace". I have only seen images--far from an xpert on these. Great marble non the less. Marble--On!!

Akro--no doubt. Marble--On!!!

I had this bag and marble verified by the King and Queen of Akro. Thanks for that—Great folks, the Hardy’s. The marble is one of six or so that they have seen and they have one that looks exactly like the one that I show here. The fist image is natural, the second under black light, the third is backlit. The pouch, well what can I say, I did not need it to be verified but they sure liked it and were glad to see some of the stuff that is still out there to be found. I wonder if these may be a paired set for Champions, probably will never know. I collect pouches and I will never top this one. (well, you never know, do you) Collect on!!

Great post Chad, The yellow and red were always Akro in my book. Mostly because I could not say that they were anything else(hmmm). The one next to it, below it, is a good candidate for one as well. The rest---you tell me, yes I see a Vitro in there.
-
Great job Mojo!
-
I agree with Vitro on the left. Bullseye?
-
I would say that the odd shaped one is some sort of mineral/stone.

I think that we can all agree that it is not a Pelt. "burnt sparklers" is a new term to me. I would love to see some. On the op one cutoff looks akro and one looks master. I am looking hard at the base transparent glass, it has a blueish tint that I would expect to see in a master vs an akro. That is my call Master Made. Marble--On!!

Hmmm, these are new to me. I like the way that the red is outlined with a deeper white. Nice patches for sure. I would sort these as Jabo. I just call them like I see them. Marble--On!!

I agree, not Oxblood my friend--Jabo x 3 Here are a few examples of Oxblood in a variety of shades. These are all "bricks" that are loaded with ox, but I think that they will show the difference/variety and what you may look for in the future regarding oxblood. Marble--On!!

I have two that are six years old and several that are older and I always keep some for them to take home---the bigger the better and the harder to swallow. If they ask, they shall recieve. My great grandaughter will be next on the list. They are all a blessing, even after going through two weeks of sickness after Christmas---nothing new. Not covid--just sick. I will do it again. I will never forget my little redhead using a laser light to write his name on one of these. Marble On!!

They are all very nice Ron, I would love to see some more images of the one that I circled---very nice.

Yikes, I wish that I had this one in hand. The damage is what I would expect in an Akro. Not a patch, a corkscrew in my world. Really nice wet finish regardless of any damage.( you can only show one side in a display) A keeper and show stopper! Marble--On!!

I will never see enough of these yellow slags. The best slag ever made imho. Marble--On!!
