  1. Hmmm it does look out of round judging by the last image. Alox marbles are a confusing bunch. Alox purchased marbles from other companies and sold them as their own. I would call this one a WVS of some make. The white looks good enough to be batch glass--or glass made from a recipe rather than cullet from another glass maker. This is about all that I can offer. Marble--On!!
  2. At the very least a "Tracer" imho. "Tracers" are hard to find with all of the ribbons--"traced". Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  3. This one is hard to ID but it may be a WVS or a "Gamer". Size always matters. Marble--On!!
  4. WVS imho. Marble--On!!
  5. I agree with MK on the first one. The second one looks like a Vitro but the cutlines tell me MK. Mk is notarious for the cutlines being folded/indented rather than incorporated into the orb. My opinion only--- and I would love to see some more. Marble--On!!
  6. I am with Chad here--size always matters as do the seams or cut marks. Backlight it as well in any future images with no UV--"Backlight them all". Marble--On!!
  7. Vacor--"Zebra". Vacor made a lot of versions of this one. Just my opinion and I hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  8. Both are Peltier MCS imho. Marble--On!!
  9. So--just over 5/8". This one is a WVS--no foreign made here. I just suck @WVS ID—I just know one when I see one. Nice images—Nice Marble!! I hope to see some more opinions here. Marble—On!!
  10. Welcome marblemike to TheMarbleConnection. I know that you wanted to say "hello" in your header because I drop the o all the time---I have to use an editor nowadays😁. I am judging the size of your marble as well over 3/4" by comparing it to the surrounding edges of the image. I hate to step on Chad and Steph in the same sentence but----this one is a Jabo-- "classic". Classic meaning Factory made and not from any “special runs” Of course this is just my humble opinion and I wish to see some more regarding this one. Nice marble none-the-less—these are usually filled with little white hit marks due to the softness of the glass and the marbles knocking into each other during shipment/sales. Marble—On!!
  11. Not intentional. The larger the marble more likely the orange peel in my experience--even with Vacor. Pelt had orange peel on a few black based marbles, as did a few others. some companies just have or had higher standards. I have yet to see an Akro with orange peel but I am sure that there are some out there. Masters have not appeared in my home with orange peel and I cannot recall any Vitro either. In my judgement--it was due to the temp of the glass vs the temp of the rollers. David McCullough would be the one to give you the best answer. Give him a try--what the heck? Marble--On!!
  12. That’s me crying and I agree with Ric, I doubt that these are Akro. I would love to see the link to the original post if they have any cutoff marks. Marble—On!!
  13. Not on these--no bid from me. Good advice though! Marble--On!!
  14. You beat me to it--nice job! Marble--On!!
  15. I have eaten the same breakfast for many--many--many years now--I even pack it when I travel. It is like body medicine to me. 2 TBS of ground flaxseed--I grind it from whole seed with 1/4 tsp of Ceylon cinnamon, 3 heaping TBS of Walnuts, 1 TBS of honey, 3 heaping TBS of mixed dried fruit--usually cranberries, raisins and bitter cherries (blueberries when they are cheaper) and 1/3 cup of oatmeal. I pour about enough milk--no-fat and water to make it spoon-able, nuke it for 90 seconds and wallaw! The truth runs in the results. I have used these Anti oxidants to the max for breakfast for many years. This usually lasts until supper time. The old poop shute loves this stuff—keep your colon healthy is all that I can say. Breakfast--On!!
  16. This one was used and played with imho. Akro Popeye Patches are usually a dug marble and the UV reaction is generally associated with the yellow and green variety of "Popeye’s". That being said—I think that you have a “Popeye patch” from the wild. The “whispy white” may be covered by the UV imho. I appreciate all opinions and look forward to some more. Marble—On!!
  17. They could be Vitro--no name----or MK imho. Marble--On!!
  18. Jabo sounds right here. Marble--On!!
  19. That is a big one and my gut tells me Vitro. (I did have Sauerkraut last night)🤢. Marble--On!!
  20. Nice find! A "Wedding Cake"? Pretty cool imho. Marble--On!!
  21. Pretty cool--the brown is killer!! Marble--On!!
  22. The "coke bottle" base glass makes me think foriegn--from asia somewhere. Nice find! Marble--On!!
