  1. Lets make a call to @Nantucketdink--these seem to be up his alley. @Melissa aslo collects this type--lets get her opinion as well👍. Marble--On!!
  2. Yes! imho of course. Nice ID! this is a tuff one for sure. @Fire1981 will nail it down. Marble--On!!
  3. Great images once again! I would call it a Pennsboro Alley. ( yah--I suck @ WVS ID ) I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. @cheese? Marble--On!!
  4. I do not know--good question--I highly doubt it though. This coating was sprayed on a very hot orb of glass and then annealed. With the exception of the Vacor "Wave-Breaker", I do not find the iridescent coating very attractive. (I just love a good Wave Breaker---they look like a Space aged Peltier) Good luck and of course— Marble—On!!
  5. Hello shiroaiko, Do you have any of these bottles to share? Cool stuff! Marble--On!!
  6. This is a slag--one base color and white. Today most would call it a WVS--from what company? Probably an Alley Agate imho. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  7. Top notch Mojo---very nice! Marble--On!!
  8. Lets get back to the box. I wonder what @shiroaiko has to say. The box looks like it is from asia to me. Marble--On!!
  9. This is another nice example with great images. I think that Fire is right on here. Marble--On!!

  11. Me too--blue av is pretty rare--- Cool find in any marble--Vitro is my choice here. Marble--On!!
  12. A Vacor "Twister" imho--a very nice one for this size! Marble--On!!
  13. I looked at this one hard and had to step away for a moment or several and had to come back to look. It is an Akro Tri-Colored Patch type imho—pretty weird and very cool imho. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  14. @Ric knows these better than I do, but I would probably sort this one as a Vitro. The blue is intense for any marble maker--hard to tell here. It is a nice one regardless of the ID. Marble--On!!
  15. They are both Vacor imho. The top image--the top one-- a Vacor "Dragon". The second one is what I would call a “Jungle” made by Vacor. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble—On!!
  16. I have never seen one in hand--- Merry Christmas--I think that you have a Vacor "Santa" here. Nice marble! Nice find! I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  17. This one is a "Wavebreaker" made by Vacor. I am not a big fan of iridescent marbles but this model breaks the banks for me. A very nice marble these--just a joy to hold and look at. Marble--On!!
  18. It is a "Fiesta"-- Vintage or modern? Hard to tell. This is a nice one regardless. Marble--On!!
  19. Never feel embarrassed here jeslar1976. This is why we exist here at "TheMarbleConnection". We all just love this stuff and support anyone that are looking to collect these cute little orbs. There will be no judgement on your limited knowledge--just a collection of long past knowledge--- from all here trying to help you get on with the ID of any marble that you may find. Keep them coming! Marble--On!!
  20. You just Put an @ before the user name and wait for it to come up--you may have to scroll a bit. Marble--On!!
  21. I just love this cool old stuff--time for bed though-- Marble--On!!
  22. Stone Agates were made in California for sure--this would be a big one though. Have you ever seen the images of these poor lads laying on a bench grinding and polishing? You never know do you? Marble--On!!
  23. Well--if you cannot get an ID from these images--I give up==great job! Alley Agate is what I would call it. Marble--On!!
  24. The rest of the marbles that you show are macine made. They came out of a large furnace containing the same glass, were cutoff by a machine and rounded by a machine. The "Chalkey" that you show would have been picked out and disgarded by quality control--some were no doubt missed. It has been observed that this may have been a result of being buried over the years and a result of that--who really knows?\ All Marbles have two cutoff points. Some may look like pontils--but pontils are a handmade term only. Marble--On!!
  25. On this latest green one image #3 and #4 show where it was cut off . One end was as made, slightley rounded by hand and one was ground. It was more than likely gathered by hand out of a pot of glass and cut off by hand by a shears and barely rounded by hand—no machines involved here—man made. The Ground part was just sticking out too far to be at least semi round. A pretty cool find imho.
