They are!

does anyone know, what type of stone? Thank you!

Agate, for sure! -
Both sets of photos?
-
Looking at my first set of photos, I saw similar features in the rest of the opaques from the same lot. Please, tell me who the Vitro suspects are, even if you still lean more towards MK.

Fasten seat belts! Here’s more from the same lot. I thought these could be interesting as well. There are yellow-ish stains on a couple and I guess that’s rust.

Thank you all! I really like these. When ever I find a marble and notice a shift in the surface I always think to myself "Please, don't let it be a chip or a dent". Sometimes it's just that but I feel lucky when I notice a crease instead of a chipped surface.

Vitros I have seen, or at least I am aware of that Vitro marbles may be found in Sweden. Now that I'm thinking of it, I might have a couple of Vitro all reds. It's fascinating if they are indeed Marble King. In that case I have a couple more from the same lot that might also be the same. I'm going to visit your study hall, Steph, and read more about Marble King.

I agree. They are coming up soon. 👍🏼

First of all, thank you @Gladys, @Chuck G and @Steph for your input. I want to think that they are Marble King. If so, how did they end up in Sweden? And if they are Peltier mimics like you suggested, Chuck, who could have made them? Maybe you can contribute with som reference photos if that’s possible?

Just checking if you also think these are European wirepulls? I guess that the red one is a Veiligglas. The blue one is 15 mm and the red one is about 17 mm.

Here are four opaques (of a few more) that I hand picked at a flea market this weekend. These are different to what I’m used to find here in Sweden. Lovely colours. 15-16 mm in diameter.

…is very pleasing. Me and my girlfriend went to a yearly big fleamarket. Came home with some stamps, books, a boardgame, artwork and a some marbles. I think there are a couple of wirepulls and a few nice Vacor’s in there, bathing among the rest.

Probably, but I don't know.

Thanks for responding. 😊 I got it and here is the thread.

VERY interesting! I just made a quick search on the Vacor Rustic and I didn't came up with that many pictures, but it looks similar to the Swedish stone marble. Different colours though. The Swedish marble is highly unlikely to be seen in the US. I think there were plans in the early 90's to aim for an international market but I don't think the marbles ever made it out of Scandinavia. Technically, I suppose, building a marble with this plaster, cement and talc mix could be applied to other seeds than the rape seed. Therefor I guess it can be done anywhere in the world as long as innovation and vision are present. Hopefully I'll have some original Swedish stone marbles from the old factory warehouse to show soon.

Help! A blue swirly and a clear crystalized.

I have to google Leighton marbles. Haven’t heard of them before. Good input! 👍🏼 Ah, right! The abbreviation just didn’t ring a bell. -

Good idea. I’ll check with the seller. 👍🏼 Edit: Unfortunately no engraving. -

The seller says it’s glass so I just have to believe him. It would be nice though, to be completely sure. Yes, it’s a big one. I had my thoughts that It might be a paper weight but it appears to be round enough to be a big marble. By the way, what does MFC stand for? -
Well… I actually found it in the wild. It was at a Red Cross second hand store, in the toys section. There were three wild beast (that vaguely reminded me of children) tearing the section to pieces and chewing on the toys. I went in and out like Indiana Jones.

I would say yes, but ever so slightly.
