I see master too, but who the heck would spend the time polishing a master? Strange.

Almost any slag is Akro. You can def cancel out pelt slag with this one and I see no cut line for MFC.

With that bacon look to it, I’d say alley. Especially that first photo, I’d for sure put that with my alleys.

Got this marble yesterday in a jar, fairly certain it’s a master. I should know but I’m not 100 percent sure. The glass seems a little too modern to be a master though.

3rd one kinda looks like an Akro patch to me…

Just got a huge lot of estate marbles and have no idea what these two are. Any help would be appreciated. The last four photos is a separate marble but has to be the same company.

Had to rearrange some stuff, put my cairos on a different shelf to make room for more of my Akro ware.

Didn’t find any marbles while driving around West Virginia today, other than some clays and a beat up Akro patch at unfortunately recently torn down 1870s houses in wheeling. But I did find a bunch of Akro ware in Wellsburg today.

We’ll here’s some of the mibs I found today (haven’t sifted through the rest) which I usually find such good stuff at least once a month or every weekend sometimes. But I drive hundreds of miles a weekend in search of marbles. Today I started at 6am and found these at 4pm, so it takes lots of searching but it’s the thrill of the hunt. I mean 95 % of the stuff I see is just junk or damaged but it’s one good jar a week or so that keeps me going.

Where do you live? Everywhere I go, be it around where I live, OH, WV, Upstate NY, Tidewater VA, eastern KY I find great marbles without fail nearly every weekend. However when I got around Columbus OH for whatever reason or pennsboro, Clarksburg, or any historic marble mfg town I find nothing or ridiculously overpriced jars of crap. Have never looked for marbles outside of the Midwest, so not sure what jars of marbles go for in TX, Massachusetts, CA, AR, etc.
