  1. I use AOL and haven't had a problem. If you are on AOL, you could do a CTRL K for their keywords. The type in 'browser settings' and clear the footprints - making sure you check the boxes for temp files, etc. If you haven't done it for awhile, it'll take a few minutes to clear. That might help clear out some temporary internet page problem - sometimes the computer thinks they are bringing up a new page and it is just the same 'saved' page that keeps coming up.
  2. Can you get to the main site board? Maybe just log in again on any Yuku Board? Google 'Yuku' and find a place to log in?
  3. And here's pics of one that Bob Byard showed a while back
  4. Only one is in July in Tacoma, WA. Info at www.iamc.us
  5. Thanks again for all the pictures, Edna. That's a tough call between the Mylee and the Edith Irene - both great looking marbles!
  6. Thanks for the update, Steve. I'd been checking regularly, too.
  7. When I have taken pics of my bags before storing them, I usually don't get good pics of the marbles inside, especially with Master's cloudy poly bags. But here are some where you can see the marbles to see the banana and other styles.
  8. Looks like he had a great time - glad he got a chance to see marbles being made after hearing about it from you two and seeing your pictures.
  9. Neat group of marbles no matter who made. Good topic for discussion.
  10. I have a couple different Hot Shot bags in my collection - here's the pics. One had some tears in the mesh so I was able to take the marbles out and photo them.
  11. Here are a couple old pics that I have of the King and Monarch bags - probably from eBay.
  12. Here's the reverse mode of the picture Windy took of me. Then a box of Pelts from Steve's $1 bin - always fun to pick through; a couple of Vitros I got from Smitty; some corks for my collection and some neat Vitro hybrid cat's-eyes.
  13. I'm pretty sure it's our premier machine made marble maker's birthday today. Have a great one Dave and rest up for the next run!
  14. Good pics, Windy and better than me on some of the names... In the first post, that is Steve Pursch with me. The picture above us is Bob (Doc) Robbins and Landon Daniel. In the 2nd post, it's Jack Labbe on the right (blue shirt) and I'm drawing a blank on the other guy. Above Bill O'Connor is Larry Cannon. Below the 3 Stooges (Sami is the correct name) is Doug Hildebrand. By the way, Peewee is Steve Cogdill for those that don't know. I'll get my pics posted some day.
  15. I agree that the Pressman bag is real. I have several with Vitros in them. Of the others, the Alox one on the right is the only one that might even be 'close' to real. When Alox closed, someone bought all the leftover headers, polybags and marbles and filled them themselves. It looks like this one was filled with MK Cat's-eyes so it is obviously not an original complete Alox bag but may have a 'real' header and polybag portion.
  16. On eBay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=120387826264
  17. Thanks to both of you for posting the pics and making us 'feel' what you are going through - looks liek a great bunch of people and marbles!
  18. Lazy cork or twisty patch? I'd lean towards the patch but...?
  19. Those Champion Jr. headers look fine to me.
  20. Hope you have a great day! I appreciate all the help you give on ID's, etc.
  21. The Vitro Cat's bag of 22 is real. Some of the mesh are probably real mesh, real headers and then filled with marbles and stapled. That's how a lot of those bags came about from the sale when the factories closed - with marbles from the factory until those ran out and then other types.
