    Ideas?

    Looks Vacor - Seahorse maybe.
  2. If you are on FB, go to the DAS, etc. page and then search "Double Decade" and you will see some posts with that run, including a very large group. I think you might find some similar ones there.
  3. OK Charlie, just a reminder - Rainbo, not Rainbow for Peltiers.
  4. The marbles pictured appear to be the 2000 run where they "mimicked" the older St. Mary's crossthrus. I don't recall any special bags (commemorative or otherwise) that they did at that time but they might have. They have done special bags and bag headers for Wildwood and other events over the years.
  5. Double ingot in the one bag - don't see too many of those.
  6. "We" usually say to keep the bags unopened as their value is usually greater that way. "Common" bags (value under $10 each or so) could be opened but I would keep the bag, staples and marbles together as "provenance" or just a cool display method. Now, another reason to open might be the condition of the bags. For example, in your first photo, the value of the bags would only be the value of the marbles as the bags are so damaged, they are worthless. So, opening those would seem to be okay (I'd still keep everything together so you know what came from where). The bags in the 2nd and third photos I would keep intact, especially the 2nd as it is unusual and has those cool logo marbles (even if made in the last 30 years or so). Just my thoughts.
  7. Rainbos have quite a variety of "bleeding" and patterns.
  8. Robert Hamon and Roy Hicks were the only two names with the RH initials on Steph's contemporary list (from several years ago). I don't collect contemporaries so I do not recognize the marble style.
  9. But show them with the marble bags that go with them....
  10. I did not count them at the time. I'll try and find the box in my "stuff". I did not code the location with my pic so.... have patience.
  11. Nice box - I got one about 15 years ago. Did not realize they were harder to find.
  12. European origin, I believe. Here is a picture posted by Winnie from The Netherlands (RIP).
  13. The marbles that you show are probably all Asian.
  14. Peltier cat's-eyes can be a little weird. Here is bag that I opened for reference some years back.
  15. Your Red Jobber box, I have not seen before. The ones that I have look like this. Yours is smaller & without the 10c. I have ones with MK's, Vitros, Champion, Ravenswood and a mixture.
  16. I hope Gerald can get his MK book published. Last I heard he was trying to contact Beri to meet with her and get final "approval". If anyone knows Beri, maybe they can contact her and ask her to contact Gerald so he can get it done. Thanks.
