  1. I have always heard that Red is hard-to-find.
  2. Al Oregon

    Porcupine?

Could be but looks like heavier coverage on yours.
  3. No - possibly a "tweener" but I'm leaning towards a nice Rainbo.
  4. Here are a couple pics that I have saved of Mid Atlantic marbles. Sammy Hogue worked there way back when. Pics are from David Chamberlain (RIP), Edna Eaton, and Ramdy Gossett (RIP).
  5. I'll stir the pot - my first thought was Mid-Atlantic.
  6. Here is a pic of mine for comparison.
  7. When I was first collecting WV swirls in the early 2000's before a lot of iD'ing was done, I took 20 (25 count plastic boxes) full of WV swirls (500 total) - mostly random - to the Texas Show and met with Ron and Ric to get them ID'd. I think by the time we finished, over half were ID'd as Champion. Just one example but the marbles were random ones that I had bought off eBay or at the few shows I had been to back at that time.
  8. Here's a close-up from box (by wvron)
  9. In the 2nd pic, the two large ones are Alley (likewise in the first pic) and some of the smaller swirl types also are Alley. The one Peltier, maybe Rainbo. to the left of the large one at the bottom of the 2nd pic looks interesting.
  10. The pairs of vanes, three color aspect of that marble leads me to a cat's-eye ID.
  11. Then a Kate Greenway (Shackman) Bucket of Marbles
  12. Then an Oxbow Marble Puzzle Game - just for info
  13. Here's a picture of my Shackman box with paper label on top.
  14. The first pic throws in some Vitro Horseshoe style cat's-eye vibes but it looks a little too busy for Vitro....?
  15. That 3rd color is what swings it to foreign for me.
