  1. These types of Imperials have been around at least since the 70's.
  2. Thanks for sharing. I think the other Champion one was with David T.
  3. Type that Nantucketdink refers to - torn header so you can see the two (I did not tear- came that way)
  4. Original post is a Champion Furnace marble.
  5. Peltier Tracers with Bloody Marys at top pic (Craig S. pic).
  6. Tie Dye Box for comparison.
  7. Nice bag and cool marbles.
  8. Peltier left and Alley right
  9. Ric - here were a couple pictures of you two that I had saved. One was at the Sistersville Show in 2008 and the other at the Texas Show in 2009 where you two were helping me ID about 500 WV swirls.
  10. If you can go early, get a room and set up if you want to sell or trade your "stuff". If you can't do a room and you are close to Portland, drive in and do the room hopping in the time you have - afternoon, evening, etc. While we do go out to eat, it's usually pretty short and plenty of time to visit, buy, sell, trade, learn, etc. The collectors are usually on one or two floors in the hotel and they will have their doors propped open so you can go in and visit, etc. If you do want to sell at the show, reserve a table and they'll let you know when to show up to set up. If you don't sell, come to the show when it opens and have fun. People start arriving on Wednesday. Look forward to meeting you.
  11. Figuring out how to start selling to pare down my bag and box collection, etc. eBay, with their IRS reporting now, makes it tough as I probably did not document well enough for an IRS audit. Bob B. has his auctions and I have some coming out with him.
  12. Top pictures - right one might be a bullseye.
  13. So sad to read. Ron was one of the first collectors that I met outside of the West Coast. Just a great help and inspiration to learn about the marble collecting hobby. He and I communicated about marbles over the years and I saw him at the few shows that I attended in the midwest and east coast. My prayers to his family. RIP.
