    More Name Games

both are 7/8". both have a single ground/faceted pontil. both have ribbons of color on one side with white on the other. both have the ribbons below the surface. would either one of these be considered a maypole? thanks.
  4. one more: although it apperars gray, the base glass is brown. thinkin maybe akro on this one. 11/16" thanks.
  5. couple more odd ones: has what appears to be a cut/shear mark (like a pinch type), but it has also been ground. "?" 23/32" i believe this one is german. single ground/faceted pontil. don't recall seeing the gray colored glass before. 11/16" thanks.
  6. thank you dog. no oxblood, and good eye, there are thicker ribbons on the inside of the twister. thanks.
  7. thank you clyde. and thanks for tips on the pics. thanks.
  8. thanks andrea. no glow to the twister. thanks.
  9. picked these up in a small batch of mibs. a true teal colored one. can't recall seeing this color before, but my memory aint what it used to be. 23/32" really like the wraps on this one. that's not a chip, but a rather strange cut/shear mark. 21/32" any thoughts on the makers? thanks.
  10. can't really compete with you guys, but i thought this one was a little odd. thanks.
  11. i know the box isn't marked, but i keep them a just little closer to my akros. have you back-lit them? are the black ones transparent purple and are the blue ones transparent also? do both of them have a reddish glow? thanks.
  12. thinking i'm seeing a christensen agate mib in there. thanks.
  13. "?". can't we have a little fun here? i honestly believe we are not going to see any "flaming onionskins" for sale or id'd as by any knowledgeable collector any time soon. thanks.
  14. not quite sure how they dun it. outside: inside: thanks.
  15. when buying an original box like this, one can never be 100% sure the marbles are also original. unless, of course, there is proof that the box is factory sealed. however, much like the box, none of the marbles are in mint condition. so they may be peltier. thanks.
  16. here's what is inside. thanks.
  17. Galen posted one here: http://marbleconnection.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=12318&view=&hl=gray%20coat&fromsearch=1 thanks.
