  1. These were the pics that had me scratching my head from what I thought was a Conq without a doubt.
  2. Just got this marble mail. It's a big old Yellow Jacket shooter, if I'm not mistaken. Not sure why I'm in them right now, but I am so there. LOL. 3/4"
  3. I've been looking at some pics in the Joe Marbles section and I can see similar features that this marble shares with Conquerers, Victories and Tri-Lites. And since size matters, it's a whopper at 29/32"
  4. His videos are so incredibly helpful. They contain so much info that I have watched several multiple times, stopping to take notes. So cool of him to do those vids!
  5. Holy smokes! Simply amazing marbles. Stunning!
  6. Some of those colors are really vivid. Keepers for sure. Or sharers. Sometimes sharing is caring.
  7. The colors are what made me think funky Vitro, or modern something trying to look like something it's not.
  8. I'm no expert, but Vitro did so many different patterns and colors that it very likely could be Vitro. But it could be MK. Maybe newer foreign? I'm absolutely no help at all. I'll shut up now.
  9. Could that be a blended MK? Like some sort of Bumble Scout hybrid? It's cool and interesting fo sho.
  10. I didn't look too hard at the pic, just assumed they all were Yellow Jackets. Now I'm thinking bottom 3 are, but need more pics. That top middle one has some extra going on!
  11. Now I don't feel so bad for not knowing what it was. Thanks guys!
  12. LOL... I totally get it. When I'm sorting to put some out for patients, I find myself having a hard time with parting from these penny marbles. I don't have a vacuum chamber but I've been getting tips and am excited to give them a try. So please send me a couple good ones and I will return them to you looking like gleaming beauties. But it's up to you. I'm good with whatever you decide.
  13. I just got these and I though about opening them as they aren't very valuable. But IF the bag is real, I was thinking the value would be in the sealed bag. Pretty much like Cheese said. And with fewer bags out there in tact, it's kinda sad to open it.
  14. Sage advice and it makes perfect sense. I considered the staple thing, LOL. It just so tempting. But I like the idea of sitting on it for awhile and just getting a few similar types to display. I guess it would depend on the marbles.
  15. If you were to buy a sealed bag with the original marbles inside, would you be a fool to open it? I suppose it would depend on the marbles, but are you just killing the value by opening it?
  16. Good eye, Melissa. You could have gotten hosed. I'd be tempted to go back in and do some serious scoffing.
  17. I think the green background was throwing the colors off. I'm experimenting with my pics. Here's a few diff ones that may help. The base doesn't look lavender in hand.
  18. Thank you for doing that. I can see it now.
  19. Not sure on this one. UV like a mo fo.
  20. Not sure if I posted this one for ID, but I think the consensus was Pelt. It's just 7/16ths. I noticed recently that the ribbons, but not the base glass, respond to UV like fire. I tried to catch it, but it makes it look like the base is lighting up too. Would this new info effect the ID? I'm also having trouble finding more than 1 seam.
