  1. Welcome Tony! I think you'll find this is a friendly group and we love to learn and share our knowledge.
  2. Welcome! Hope you enjoy learning about the marbles you find.
  3. Welcome! Collecting marbles seems simple at first, but the more you get into it, the more there is to learn. Enjoy the ride!! It's easy to get totally obsessed. 😜
  4. I really want to see this post to which you are referring. Were you able to recall where it is?
  5. Not sure about the 1st one. Can you post more pics of it? 2nd one is Vacor.
  6. I think my joke landed flat. I'll slink off now and eat a worm.
  7. So is it a shooter or is it player sized? Looks Vacor to me.
  8. I'd top your bid at $1.50. I'll take it from there. 😜
  9. Excellent point! I have no intention of purchasing this marble and was more interested in it's true ID. Always learning! And my friends here on the forum have saved me from over paying on junk so many times. Much love!!
  10. 4 and 6 are newer Imperials and not valuable. 17 is a Vitro All Red. 22 is a Vitro Conquerer. 25 and 26 foreign cats eye. 29 Vitro hybrid cats eye. 31 Vitro cats eye. These are the ones I'm pretty certain of. But I'm still learning myself.
  11. Greetings! You've got quite the variety of marbles there. This forum is wonderful for helping with IDs. It will make it a lot easier all around if you post small groups of 2 - 4. You'll get more responses. You're doing great with pics and numbering them!
  12. So this is another eBay deal and there is only 1 view. I suspect this is a MK rainbow, but the colors make me ask if it could be something special I just don't know about. I know it's a crap shoot without more views but maybe someone knows what it is right off the bat. Looks like 5/8ths or thereabouts.
  13. Especially with the 4 vanes in the correct order for the old St. Mary's- Blue across from green and red across from yellow. I've messaged the seller for more info. Looks MK to me too
  14. I've been looking at an eBay post listing this marble as an experimental Master sparkler 19/32 wet mint. To me, it is looking like a messed up 4-color St. Mary's cat's eye. Especially pics 5 and 6. What do y'all think?
  15. I've been amazed how much some marbles have been knocked around under somewhat harsh circumstances and remained virtually unscathed. Others have been lightly played with and you can see the hit marks. Glass is funny that way.
  16. Dude - you are getting some awesome Peewee pelts!
  17. Nice 3 color cat's eye shooter some just gave me for free. Perfect condition.
  18. I'm not happy with how the bat marble turned out. I still have to polish the nubbin on it and the "after" pics were hard to get the lighting right, but I enlarged the one pic and it looks like it's a cat's eye!
