I feel I’m so close to identifying this Marble. I just can’t nail it down. It looks somewhat to a clear base dragon, but it has white in it then it kinda looks like a clown, but no yellow, then again it kinda looks like a Christmas tree but I’m not sure. I need some help. Kinda looks like dragon that dressed up like a clown that ate a Christmas tree. 😂 The green does pop UV and its clear base. Sure is a beautiful marble. Thanks

Fungusfinder101 I just checked back to see if anyone has got back and named any of the marbles for you. I hope I didn’t seem to brush you off in telling you to find some books and online sites to help you in your search, but it looks like you have quite a few marbles to go through. I’ve seen it many times here where some of the knowledgeable regulars will ask for pics of about 3 for an easy visual. Right away I see solid core swirls, lutz, end of day and onion skin marbles. I know you may not know what I’m talking about but that’s what a good book could explain . Hope this helps for now.

Oh wow ! You have a very nice collection. I’m still relatively new to this site also. I do recognize a lot of the marbles you have just from the help from the folks here on this site. Just for starters, If you can, make your way to the local library and look for books on marble identification. Robert Block and Everett Grist are some of the authors to look for but there are more. These books are a quick and reliable source of info. There are also many online marble ID sights like Joesmarbles, MarbleAlans ID and many more. Interacting and communicating with the people on this webpage is the best but I’m sure you will want to look and discover for yourself like I do. You have started in a good place and I’m sure there are many more here who will chime in with more experienced information. Welcome to The Marble Connection.

I found the eye loop. Wow ! There’s very faint green, purple, orangish red and yellow stripes. I’d guess it was from either going into a new color or coming out of a color batch. In my thinking that’s how they come op with hybrids, rights?

Wow, it does looks a lot clearer. I was thinking it looked a falcon. I seen one online that is called a parrot. Looks identical. What’s your opinion.

Ok so I’ve been going through some marbles that have been set aside. As I rolled the container I’m tellin ya this one winked at me. At first it looks like a common black game marble but when you really 👀 look at it, wow, that’s pretty cool. I winked back. 😂. I’m calling this an in-house score

Cool, I took another pic from the side and you can see a little streak of orange and very faint green. That white patch is like really lite lavender. The dark lines that look brown I think are purple. I can’t find my loop tonight so I’ll look at it tomorrow with it.

Can’t make up my mind. What’s the difference between a Patch , Sunburst and a Comet. They all kind of look similar but I know there’s got to be some differences. Beautiful Marble, though.
