  1. Oh wow!! That’s very cool. Thanks for posting. Looks like your Sherlock Holmes. LOL.
  2. This is actually my latest score but it is Thursday. Looks like yellow, green white, blue and red.
  3. Yes the fun has started. I’ll eventually find a good match. Those two caught my eye and I couldn’t resist showing them. I’ll continue to look at WVS like Akrooka suggested. I’m going to get out the Sherlock Holmes hat and magnifying glass. LOL
  4. I’m goin go out on a limb and put this out there. This is the whole leaning process. I came across a green base Akro Snake. Colors look good but no spiral. Could be a crazy spin in the machine. Probably not, I just thought I’d put this in the mix. The other marble is a Peltier Emerald Jewel. Colors are good and there is a vibrant white on the surface. It is kinda hard to see but there is a seem visible it the last photo. This one has two ribbons. I read some could have four. Like I said I’m learning and I like to get to the bottom of a mystery. I know some of these marbles will never identified because of the complexities but I’ll have the satisfaction of leaving no stone or ā€œmarbleā€ untuned. Good night all. Thanks for all the help.
  5. I’m pretty sure this is CAC. The color is wrong for Akro to me. Can I assume this is ox blood. I love this color combo.
  6. I finally found the pic of the marbles for sale. What do you think these are worth. Note there are 36 of them. They were posted for $100.00 bucks. Not sure they are still posted. Knowing my luck it was legitimate, and they done sold them. šŸ˜
  7. Thanks Akrooka, I'll probably still continue to look on the side, I'm with you that it's a WVS of some sort. I have seen some that are very similar marbles but can't remember were I seen them. The West Virginia companies do have some interesting history. It's kinda like "who's on first". This marble could have been made by Heaton, packaged by Alox in a Cairo mesh bag marked as a Champion. Crazy, I love this stuff
  8. I like just about anything from super healthy to straight out artery clogging cardiac arrest big man breakfast. When I was younger me and grandpa would go squirrel hunting and he’d peel apples while we sat under a tree waiting on a shot. Apples never tasted better. We then would take our game home and grandma would pressure cook them for about 15 minutes and then simmer them in sausage gravy. Eggs, biscuits, homemade preserves, Burr Rabbit molasses, whole milk, coffee and juice would always be there too. We always said grace over the meal and ā€œneverā€ had reason to complain about the meal. Oh how I miss those days. By the way, the squirrels don’t.
  9. I should know better but last night I came across 36 marbles for sale at a ridiculous price of 100.00 bucks. Any two marbles could have possibly been worth 100.00 dollars. I put the posting on favorites and sent a message to get this transaction started. No response. Anyway I went back to surfing my next score and my phone starts acting funny. Oh great , What's up now. Then I realized this is probably the results of a "HIP" (hack in progress) LOL I just made that up. Anyway I went back and unsaved the post and everything went back to normal. SHEW
  10. I found some good pics of this marble on Joesmarble page and thought I might have an Alox marble. Then I found some very similar pics on this sight in the archives and that are identified as Veligglass. UV pops like crazy. Which one do you all think.
  11. This one looks to be orange tipped with light blue with five veins. Would this be considered a hybrid? I’m guessing a Vitro. Watch out , don’t let her scratch you.
  12. I really dig those marbles. šŸ¤·šŸ»
  13. Cool. I think I see my marble in the mix. I’m really starting to get into the Peltier's. I really need a Golden Rebel. 😳maybe if I get the lottery though. LOL. You never know though might find one in a jar for 15 bucks.😜Thrill of the hunt. Thanks everyone, have a great Tuesday.
  14. No problem. I like to use other resources as well to narrow down a positive ID. If something doesn’t quite lineup, I cross reference and ask questions.
  15. Reddish orange, green, white and the black is actually the clear base.
  16. Wow great resource. I had it but didn’t have it marked on my home page. Here it is. Dead Ring in my book. Thanks all
  17. I have got bits and pieces of both of those from just surfing. They are now both on my favorites
