  1. Well, I kinda thought Alley at first and would be ok with it if I get out voted. I came across these on the West Virginia Swirl marble page under Champion section. Just my opinion

    Ouch !

Awe poor marble. Rudolf will have to rescue him too. Maybe Charlie in the box will play with him. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
  3. This one is on the West Virginia marble club site under Davis marbles
  4. On the West Virginia marble club site this pic is under the C.E. Bogard and Son section. I don’t know. Looks good though.
  5. Here’s what I’m thinking. If it’s opaque it a Brick. If it’s translucent I’d say CAC slag. Just my opinion. That a nice marble.

    Ouch !

Wow. Someone probably used that one on a metal target game. LOL
  7. It's probably nothing, but check out the video that Stephen Bahr has on Heaton - Bogard. If anything it will just be a good video to watch.
  8. The the son brought some marbles by tonight to look at. The guy he got this one from said it was possible a Kokomo. It looks like a Peltier Rainbow but those bubbles are huge and some are elongated. What do you think?
  9. This one just seems to be comin at ya.
  10. Here’s one I had to have
  11. One thing I did is go to a grey back ground. I have an iPhone 14 which is supposed to have a really good camera. Every once in a while, though, I’ll switch over to video mode and take about a one or two second video. Then I have to crop it out. For some reason it’s a little clearer sometimes . I just try to get the best one though. Your picture is pretty good though.
  12. There it is Boris64. Found more description on Marble Alan page. Poorly defined turkey head, glows yellow or orange under UV, small hit marks and swirl patterns that form a V or U. This one has it all. I've been barkin up the wrong tree again. Hey at least I'm barkin. LOL Thanks Dude.
  13. Does Jabo supposed to have a "Orange peel' look up close ?
  14. Ok, I’m narrowing it down to a slag or can it be a lazy corkscrew? But which one? I thought maybe Peltier slag but it’s not feathery enough. An akro slag would be close, but it has a seam. I thought Akro wasn’t supposed to have a seam in slag’s.There again I’m back the Akro corkscrew of some kind. If it’s an Akro corkscrew that’s part of the twist. Then what about Christensen ? Some CAC marble exhibit a 9 and a tail. This one is left handed but the opposite side is sort of a 9 that twist around. Wouldn’t that be cool to have. I know I'm over thinking this but that’s just me. This one is driving me nuts because I can see a lot of different things. What am I missing. What characteristic gives this marble away. Oh yeah, I’m not going to ask if that’s some kinda pontil. See what I mean?
  15. Could they be ā€œRingersā€ or ā€œImperialsā€
  16. Hopefully this Marble is from West Virginia area. That way I can redeem myself from last week. LOL
  17. I forgot to mention it anywhere from .970 to .990 according to which way you measured it. That’s pretty big.
  18. Going through some marbles and found this. Just looks like a red ordinary glass marble till you hit it with the UV. Is it a Marble King Black Widow rainbow?
  19. This is one of five of the coins me and the son picked up the other day. Got them in an antique store for hardly nothing. My son knew they were fake, he said he wanted them to have to compare with real ones. They definitely sound different bumping them together and they are a little lighter. Like I said we had another great day I wouldn’t trade for the world.
  20. I shared on a recent post about a lot of bubbles. I wonder if they did that on purpose or just the way they turned out. Like I said, the more bubbles the less glass is in the marble. That means the glass goes farther to make more. I can't think of the name right now but there is a new candy bar out right now that's an oldy but goody that they have "fluffed up" with air to put a new spin on it. I think its just a way to make the ingredients go father for the same price if you ask me. Three Musketeer have been like that for years. Heck I bet they float. I'm like Fire1981, I can't get enough bubbles in a marble.
  21. Nice pics. It about turned my lap top over when I pulled it up. It takes up at least half the screen. WOW
  22. Chad G. That's the site. Lots of info and great pics. Thanks all.

    Vitro ?

I found a cool site with a whole post on Vitro marbles. There are a lot of Vitro varieties. If my study is correct this is a type 3 tiger eye. Any opinions. Thanks
