  1. I tried. LOL ! Any two incher in decent condition is much more than $25.00. Smart man.
  2. I am a marbleholic. No help for me. Have been one for to many years. I am a tee totaler.
  3. Those are Heatons. The third or last row, second marble down, is very typical pattern of Heaton for this nice white base and nice red. It is named the Black Cherry. They almost always have this circle or closed loop question mark and the red on only one side or only half of the marble. If not the question mark pattern, it will be a nice red S on half of the marble. These are always Heaton. Cairo Novelty has one that is similar pattern and color but the red in not as bright. Plus the Cairo usually has the circle or C curve opened up

    Mk?

These were also produced at the MK St.Marys factory. But also carried over to Paden City. More years and more of these made at Paden City. Other than Cat Eyes, these bended Girl Scouts and blended Spiderman were abundant in the creek to the Ohio river, at Paden City.
  5. In hand side by side comparison would be better.
  6. The blue and white with av is 7/8 or 13/16 inch. The box is one of three that John S. made for me from old boards of a chicken house that I tore down.

    Mk?

Blended Girl Scout. They were dug in the creek at Paden City by the thousands.
  9. Alley for me. It is where the ribbons or swirls start and end. Very few Peltier Zebra's have the black ribbon dive under the white . The white base on the Alley is lots more translucent than Peltier Zebra The different Zebras above all have a more opaque white base and more true black. Plus I think the first one or the Alley is actually dark brown not black. Very few companies had true black glass. But Peltier was one of them. Ture opaque black base glass is very unusual for any Alley. Look at the edges of the dark color on the first marble and then the edges of the Peltier Zebras. The first marble dark edges enlarged look more brown than gray or black. The Peltier Zebras dark edges enlarged look more gray, thin black. Plus, I don't see where it makes a big difference Alley or Peltier. If neither has aventurine, they should be about the same value. Alley swirl mint range = $5.00-$10.00 Peltier Zebra no av mint range = $5.00-$10.00 Peltier Zebra with good av mint range = $15.00-$20.00
  10. Both MFC Bricks for me. All Bricks contain oxblood colored glass.
  11. Vitro Tiger Eyes have a band all the way around the middle and three or four colors. Vitro Whities have a colored band other than white, all the way around the middle on a(old)white base or(later)clear with white veneer base. Whities
  12. I think they are both Alleys. But no Pistachio. Also no Alley snake. Pictures below. Alley Pistachio can vary with the green base but the base is more opaque than transparent. They were made at the Sistersville and Pennsboro location which had a higher quality glass than most Alleys made at the St.Marys site. Your marble is weak on the green and weak on the dark or black color. Made late at Pennsboro or at St.Marys Alley site.
  13. They look like Ravenswoods. I don't see any yellow and very little green. Different if Blue Ravens. Blue Ravens usually have more tan or brown.

The green one must be something new ? It looks pearlized or iridescent . The blue one is to washed out, overexposed to see the color or cut lines well.
  15. Some are Alleys and two or three are not.
  16. I don't think the bottom right is a Victory.
  17. Akro made marbles from less than 1/2 inch to 1 1/4 inch. Most of the small Akros are patches.
