  1. These are very difficult. Almost of not all WV swirl companies made marbles similar to this. some are very dark, most are purple, some are actual dark brown, some are actual dark green, but look black. Some can contain clear. It depends on the actual true color, and the swirl pattern or shape. The Jacksons like this most times has no clear, they have nice bright white and the dark color is dark and wider than most others. The Jacksons have no flame tips, they have no hooks or tight loops. These come down to actual true color and the pattern. Many have to be had in hand to separate accurate. If you have 100% known examples to compare with. This is a big reason these have little value. There will be very few CAC similar to these. Some but far smaller numbers than the WV swirl companies.

No egg yolk, not even close. Slags or swirls ? The more red one looks more WV swirl than slag. The top or both flesh colored ones might be possible WV colored transparent swirls ?

Five are Alleys. Far left and #5 may be different ? No stone agate.

All the older ones look heavily damaged. Be careful, these have very little to no value. Other than to learn with. These should be free to someone learning. Be careful or marble education can get expensive. If someone sold these, I am sure they are happy.

The right one may be Jabo ? Looks like it may have a fracture ?
  7. Tough one. But I would be at 60% chance of Alley 40% chance of Heaton. Colors can fit either one but pattern says Alley a little more than Heaton.
  8. Why Peltier ? looks Vitro to me.
  9. Looks modern polished stone here.
  10. Top left Champion. Center Alley. Right Alley Bottom left Champion. Center Champion. Right generic, not enough traits to id. Not many WV swirls have names. Some of the better Alley and Ravenswood have names. But the names are small numbers compared to all the different swirl marble made.
  11. Here Is 2 1/2 gallons of dirty Alleys. One room of four with marbles.

    Peltier

Easily done ! Just trying to help keeps things correct and less confusion for all. I will make mistakes and I hope someone corrects them.
  13. Ravenswood would be my first choice, Cairo second, Champion third and Alley fourth. Transparent single color(not including base)swirls can be very difficult to separate. This is the reason they do not have much value.
  14. Could it be a cork ? Does it corkscrew ?

    Peltier

I thought the Peltier Red Angel needed a translucent muddy or tan base with red and yellow ribbons. The marble above looks more like a transparent clear base, with red, yellow and white ribbons. The above marble is not a Red Angel for me.
  16. #1 new modern contemporary. Probably larger size, one inch to 1 1/2 inch size. Made from a tank of furnace, probably not a newer torch made marble. They are usually one inch or under. #2 new modern contemporary torch marble. or a 3/4 Jabo. I just do not remember this one. Could be a later Jabo 2014-2016 ? #3 Jabo #4 Jabo #5 Jabo #6 Jabo. I was the person who put the aventurine in this marble. During a 12 hour nightshift run at Jabo. Good pictures. But size helps with any and all identifications. Most of the Jabo marbles above should be near 3/4 inch size. About 90% of all 3/4 inch swirl marbles that you find will be most likely Jabo. Most of them from 2008-2016.

I agree Champion or maybe Ravenswood.
  18. Not oxblood. Left is foreign, and burnt red going brown. Right is a shade of red and is Champion or Alley. Both about 10-25 cents each.
  19. Either Champion or Jackson. Not CAC. Not black, very little true black in any marbles. Looks like thin purple. Black looking marbles are usually a shade of purple, next would be a shade of brown, a few can be amber or dark green. CAC, Akro or Peltier are about the only marble with true black glass. When most black looking glass is thinned enough it will be purple or brown.
  20. #1 either Alley or Jabo. Likley Jabo #2 Champion Agate #3 Cairo Novety #4 Alley Agate #5 Ravenswood Novelty
