Tough between Vitro or Akro ? -
The cuts look wrong for Vitro, plus other things. I think it is more likely Master or Imperial ??

I have to look at my Heatons more. Out of all those buckets I do not remember this one. But there it is for sure. A four or five color Heaton. -
Peltier MCS Champion New Ole Fashion Vitro Parrot Parrots can have white base showing. The four or five colors full coverage of the white base are just more desirable same as the Parrots with aventurine are more desirable. You can collect anything and call it anything. But I prefer to use as a guide what the plant manager at Vitro who was responsible for the production of Parrot marbles. Plus Parrots being his most favorite marble. I will use what he used as requirements for a marble to be labeled as a Vitro Parrot.

Size 5/8's no AV / I thought it was a Rainbo ? now, not so sure?
wvrons replied to Gladys's topic in Marble I.D.'s
I think the original is a CAC. I have dug over a thousand blended Spiderman and none looked like this. None had orange, the original looks like orange ribbons. The cuts look CAC. A CAC striped opaque is worth much more than a MK Blended Spiderman. -
I agree no way is the first one any Citrus. For the first thing, a Peltier Citrus has six ribbons. I have seen some Peltier pee wees similar to the original/. Not sure I have seen at 0.69 size ? I might lean with Marble King. The second marble is 100% Champion. Made while Dave McCullough was plant manager. Part of the New Ole Fashions runs. Some of his best copies of Ravenswood Novelty marbles. Champion I have several for $1.00 each. I bought a few hundred at a show last year for 25 cents each.

Would this be considered to be a Bifurcated Rainbo?
wvrons replied to NeozLilBallz's topic in Marble I.D.'s
Not bifurcated. Which is two different base glass colors. This is all transparent light blue base. -
Pelt, weird Vitro or something else altogether? Thanks!
wvrons replied to NeozLilBallz's topic in Marble I.D.'s
Nice older Vitro All Red. -
I agree not NLR.

I don't see any Peltier traits here. It looks Jabo to me.
-
If they were in business a year or more all machine marble companies made some double ingots. The triples are far more rare.

I agree 100% with Jabo. Peltier colors but not made by Peltier. Make it black and white pictures. Very little if anything will look like Peltier traits. -
Size can be important with these. For sure not limeade. With that weak white and clear with slight green, I am leaning hard to Jabo. If 11/16 to 3/4 no doubts it is Jabo. If near 5/8 could still be Jabo. It is a swirl not a cork. A cork is a color stripe that goes from top pole to bottom pole in a corkscrew pattern and never crosses itself.

The Hop Ching boards were by Jack Pressman and used Alley marbles from the mid 1930's to the mid 1940's. There are several different Hop Ching boards. This is what finally put Alley in big profit with marbles. This is why he had to move to the St.Marys WV location. For a larger building and triple his numbers of machines. He could not make marbles fast enough to supply the demand for the Hop Ching Chinese Checker game boards. The large board is rare. It is Ming Check and it was sold with 7/8 inch Vitro marbles. It is size 24 inches by 24 inches.

About two hours for me. I have no doubt there will be several marble collectors there. Not sure if I will go ? Not sure if I want to waste gas, a entire day and come home empty ? Some rare and high dollar boxes.
