Just the pictures misleading. The very last picture at the very bottom of the marble. The thin dark line looks like a fracture. If I tilt my computer screen or move the computer farther and closer the marble details look different. The marble looks like a different blue color in this last picture. I could see a pontil in pictures #3 & 4. The last picture looked like a chip even a lighter whitish color. Which chips sometimes do.

Blue on the same blue doesn't work well.

With many machine made marbles narrowing it down, to one of two companies, is the best that can be done. When it does not affect the value great. What difference does it make ?

Colors look off for Alley. But that pattern says Alley to me. Reflections or something with all these pictures. I have trouble seeing correct color and sometimes hard to sort out the actual color striping pattern.

What company Sparkler. Not a Akro Sparkler.

I do not know for sure. I have never seen one out of the claw. I do not see or can tell of any flat spot anywhere around the edges or sides of the claw. Some have a type of glue and some do not. Some only the claw holds the agate. Or the glue is old and gone. Some you can turn or rotate the agate in the claw. I have never noticed a flat spot. I am sure agates were used in many other items.

His consignment percentage is different with marbles, numbers of marbles, etc. You have to contact him to find out what it may be. I have sold on Ebay for over 20yrs. but not steady. I may sell for two or three weeks and not sell for two or three months. Depends on how busy I am. Not sure I will be selling much on Ebay in the future ?
