Al Oregon
I think Marie is thinking computer storage and 'pop' might be talking about physical storage. Here's a pic of part of my display and some other storage ideas. The one with the gray background is the smaller type foam in a cigar box size box. popculturizm
Hi and yes physical (have a super computer so no space issues) the middle photo is that customized for marbles (gray insert) if so where did you find it? thanks again
bigtee0
in the craft department of walmart and such there are plastic trays to hold material that you craft with Al's middle one looks like one and i have a couple of dozen of them to store my marbles. i have several thousand also and the box is sturdy and with compartments you can seperate or grade or whatever. they're wonderful. i used them to store thread and stuff. also each pocket will hold over 20 standard marbles. one box can hold a lot of marbles. they get heavy too. david Chamberlain
Specifically in the Fishing section of WAL-MART. Other than that it is probably time to prioritize! Personally I have many on doilies. Gawd only knows what that says about me! David
Al Oregon
That gray material is like the gun case material but the 'holes' are closer together. I had gotten it some years ago from someone on the boards - can't remember who. The larger type you can find anywhere where they sell mattress foam. Steph
In case this isn't too obvious, zip baggies come in lots of sizes. 2" x 2" are really good for safe storage of mibs with a fair degree of visibility.
mmuehlba
Hi do you want to display your marbles or just store them ?? ,if you want to display be sure you have a lot of EXTRA ROOMS .I buy just about any cabinet that can turn and has lights ,I like to see what I have , I also use file cabinets and gum ball machines for bulk storage , If you need a timex cabinet I have an extra one that I most likley never finish . but there not cheep and you would have to be close to Lannon . m!b$
These wooden tool chests make great displays for marbles. The ones I bought were cheaper, about $60.00 each. Tool Chest And I put dividers in the drawers, using Velcro strips and wooden dowels cut to size, for expandable/contractable sections.
m!b$
Personally I have many on doilies. Gawd only knows what that says about me!
