jeeperman
We have had some fun lately with the little less high end marbles....so I figured some cool Cateyes might be fun.
jeeperman
I am not really a Cat collector so I am sorry if I am posting a bunch of commons but they are the coolest ones I have and I kinda like them.

Chordus
<----Those two are absolutely stunning. O_O I have most of the color combinations you have here, but I've never seen anything like those before. I have a general distaste for cats-eyes, but I highly value my collection of hybrids. They're a pain and a half to get pics of, but I'll have to see if I can upload a few of my own later.
nancy cooper
Last couple! They might be 'common' but coming from someone who just noticed marbles at all...I love them! Pretty great looking pieces of glass....I also appreciate Jackson Pollock,,,,Nancy
Speed Racer
I too am a fan of Pollock. The large messed up Anacortes Hybrids so remind me of him. I'm usually not a big cat fan myself until I lay eyes on a nice hybrid Vitro.

Chordus
Here's a few to start out, more coming later. The green one is particularly odd... I don't know who made it, or when it was made. it's one very thick band, but the band has lots and lots of ripples in it. Anybody know anything about it? nancy cooper
I was wondering if you could tell me anything about these three cat's eyes. I think a lot of them look interesting. The first one is a tiny marble and looks brown from a distance but has a dark red stripe down the middle of the (one or two? vanes. The other two just look different to me. Chordus
I'd love to know that too, Rich. I've got nine cats like that, and I've never figured out who made them.

Poplarhead
Rich: Your catseye marble looks like a Master made catseye - kind of hard to find. The following box pictures came out of one buy I made off Ebay in late 1990s. And they helped me to meet a neat marbles friend later on. Poplarhead
And to wet your whistle - here is an early catseye marble - a 1930s master made sunburst type. Don

Speed Racer
Here is a recent find. A foreign whopper at 1.75 inches. The base looks bifurcated with blue on one side and clear on the other. And the bubbles! OMG...there's a million of them.
