sissydear
The white parts make me think veneered so i never considered CAC. ??????
stacyw
My first thought was CAC based on the color combination ( a known CAC combo, right?) and the structure of the flame shapes.
lstmmrbls
looks like a remelt or contemp to me.

stacyw
Galen -do you have any ideas on what sort of a remelt it might be? Are those of us thinking CAC totally off base?
lstmmrbls
colors and structure just don't look right to me to be a CAC. Maybe a shamrock marble? Looks like colors he would use.
sissydear
I passed on this marble. Does Shamrock make flames? I've never seen any of his that flamed, but I haven't seen much of his work. I don't think it's a remelt, but it may very well be a torch marble contemp. Just don't know. lstmmrbls
he made many flames.
Columbusrockhound
Not machine made. However disturbed during production, there is a certain consistency to machine made flame tips. Distorted layers of strata remain relatively parallel. Those look as if they were a bit random in placement, with conflicting lines of direction.
