kbobam
This is a 'Brunswick'. One of the rarest marbles in existence! It's very large and very heavy. Also very valuable, in spite of the three large blow-holes not visible in this photo.

Steph
I may have some ads mentioning them. Plan is to bring together more Albright stuff, including stuff with CAC overlap.
kbobam
I'm not quite following the rules here, (That's right, baby. I'm a rebel.) but hopefully 'the judges will accept it'. (♪Ding!♪)

kbobam
I do too. Even a plain transparent green marble is super cool if it goes totally nuclear when you light it up. But there's something really magical about pieces that are already beautiful in their own right, where the UV glow is extra 'gravy'. An interesting thing about this piece is that the little orange spots you see here on two of the 'feet' aren't reflections. They're the same 'amber glow' effect you get from 'Moonies'. I've had two of these 'concentric ring' jars, and both of them did the same thing. I think I've heard of other marbles besides Moonies with this characteristic, but don't remember what they are. If anyone can fill me in, I'd appreciate it. ( :

I'llhavethat1
There really is something special about Winnie's marble, but I'm having a hard time putting it into words. There's something 'natural' and comfortable about the colors. (j/k) You got a ways to go buddy (j/k) - on the cube I mean. Pics and subject matter = spot on
kbobam
This is one of the marbles I refer to as an "Akrocity". (Ack-raw-city) It's way 'out of round', although it doesn't look like it here. I have a long way to go on everything. But thanks for being kind! kbobam
What's going on with kids these days?! (I'm sure this question has been asked since 'Day 1'!) I've never been in a 'family way', either as a kid or an adult. But I get information from a good friend with extended family. He recently told me that children here are no longer taught how to write 'script' or 'cursive' or whatever you want to call it. So what that tells me is that people will no longer have a 'signature' with which to sign documents. I guess all they need now is a 'sign-in' name and a password! This is so strange to me, I can hardly believe it! ( :
kbobam
The 'net' bag and marbles are beautiful, along with the photo. They have a strong 'seaside' look to me, although that may just be because of my 'coast' location. ( :
jeroen
A new marble for today. One of the best 24 lobed onionskins I have seen. 2-7/16 inch, with very nice symmetry. Not my marble, but I am allowed to post it. Jeroen

This is so strange to me, I can hardly believe it! ( : You should not find it strange. It's a perennial saying that "kids have it a lot easier than we did". No need to learn to write when you can print your name. And if that's too much, there's always "X" to fall back on. They don't even teach mental arithmetic anymore, I'm told. But kids have it sorted out. Look at this: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/medicating/drugs/stats.html And that doesn't even include "energy drinks"....
