sclsu
I have read that these bags are new, but I bought them pretty cheap and the marbles look like they could be old. So the question is, should I open them?
Steph
From this view, the marbles also look new. Can't see inside perfectly, but from here they look like Jabos. (And I've had those bags before and I seem to recall mine being Jabos.) If you can stand to, I recommend leaving them closed. Then you can start a fantasy bag collection. That would be a charming subcollection for someone to have.
Nantucketdink
It all depends...Do you collect JABOs or fantasy bags...or neither? What were you hoping they might be? It is definitely easier to study and appreciate marbles outside of bags.
sclsu
I think it's curiosity mostly. I know the bag isn't old, but I really want to learn (seeing definitely helps) what kind of marbles come in these types of bags, so I can better evaluate them in the future. I was thinking that since I have 2, I can open one and put the other in my collection, knowing what it contains.
lstmmrbls
Why not open them. Anyone with a fairly cheap printer can make the headers and bag the marbles.
disco005
You have two.... open one
ann
Yep. Start with "open one, save one." Then if the one you open is interesting . . . don't have too much reluctance to open the other.
