mibstified
I was reading back over my Greenburg's Guide today. On pg 106 (1994 2nd edition), Dennis references that CAC made "Blue Bell" marbles of light blue and white opaque glass. Does anyone have a picture of a Blue Bell that they could post? Steph
I see it mentioned in Marblealan's Christensen section ... but no picture. So many names listed there. I didn't know that much naming had happened with Chrissies.http://www.buymarbles.com/marblealan/cac.html
mibstified
Thanks Steph, good info. Alan's description references that the light blue glass is transparent, which Greensburg's Guide did not mention. So I guess they could look like Alley Blue Skies but with transparent light blue instead of opaque?
BuckEye
My guess is that these are the construction of a bloodie. Just blue instead of red. I’ve looked into this before. I dont Think they are anything special. So it would be opaque white with transparent blue swirls.

Steph
The ribbon is not the type that makes me hopeful of CAC.

Hmm I had it on the Marble ID board the consensus there was this is a CAC Marble. But ID can be subjective and misidentification happens. I mean, these Marble Makers all worked together then each went their own way. They used the same machines even for some time. I’m sure the workers went back and forth from one company to the other just like employees today do where they take a job with a current competitor. Then one marble maker would distribute their marbles in another marble makers packaging for whatever reasons…….so it’s a wonder any 100% Correct identification is even possible with marbles.
