A second marble.  Appears to be pottery/porcelain(?).  Appears to have been hand designed from crudity and non-uniformity.  Measures .49-.50" with a caliper.  Surface is kind of crude and wobbles when rolling.

Can be positioned so looking down at the top shows an upper hemisphere with alternating blue and white triangles with their points meeting at the apex of the dome.

The bottom hemisphere is the same, but its pattern is rotated so the bases of the blue triangles on top touch the bases of the white triangles on the bottom.

Any info on maker, date, history, and collectability appreciated.

Yes, some of the first marbles which I bought my first couple months of collecting.  They looked old so they had to be valuable, wrong !   One of my very early marble lessons.  I decided that if I was going to do this. That I had to learn and know what I was spending money for.  I still make a bad buy every year or two. But that is my fault. I should know what I am buying .

Lots of "advertising" bags too. Bags that say "Tydol" and "Wendy's" and "Texaco" and that sort of thing... fresh of the printer. Sold as vintage to unsuspecting buyers. Fake Comic marbles, fake logo marbles, modern sulphides, and so-on. Thankfully most are easily recognized with a little bit of study and familiarization right here on actual marble forums. The best places to learn about marbles on the internet. (Better is face to face hands -on).
