Looks kinda like a Japanese transitional.  The cut line is pretty long and it has pucker marks around it. Thanks

Are they common? I didn't even know the Japanese made marbles, except machine made catseyes?

looks more like a big ol' cold roll mark to me.  A lot of industrial grade "clearies" didn't have the same type of quality control as marbles (meant for kids to play with)

I agree it is a machine made colored clearie with a roll mark. The larger marbles are more difficult to control. The hot glass glob was to large for the size groove in the roll. So it did not spin correct to make it round. Vitro and several other companies made this color at this size. Collector value zero.

I guess I was trying to make more out of it than it really is.

But yes there are Japanese transitionals.  Long cut lines, pucker marks and generally lower quality glass. my photos are not the best. Thanks
