The art of shinethrough

I’m working on a very compact ”lightbox” which is simply a small square piece of MDF, with a hole in the middle, that I place on top of a reading lamp. It’s a work in progress but it’s getting there. :) I think I need to widen the hole just a bit to pass more light. Here are some experimental shots.

i agree with Steph lovely pics that handmade looks super cool ,it’s amazing how some mibs can look so different backlit ,like you say you could make the hole bigger but it would be nice to be able to adjust the size for different  mibs with more or less transparency even a dimmer switch on the light 😎
