akroorka
I agree, not CAC--a WVS, which I have little knowledge of.
Chad G.
Agree w/ Art on W. Va. swirl, more specifically I see Alley
wvrons
Looks close to Alley from St.Marys. But at a closer look, that pattern and colors are not St.Marys Alley. It does not have any Christensen or CAC 9 pattern. The 9 pattern is with hand made marbles or transitionals or slags. The 9 twist is from being gathered(twisted)on a gather rod. The marble above is machine made, never hand gathered on any rod. Maybe a much older Alley than from the St. Marys site ? The pattern design is closer to Christensen Agate than Alley.
Marbleized
Would this pattern have a slight resemblance to that "bacon" look in CAC? Just wondering.
wvrons
Bacon is Alley. Bacon is color combo as much as pattern. No CAC Bacon marbles. The colors and pattern on this marble above is not Alley Bacon. The Alley Bacon is one single swirl or stripe. The marble above if Bacon would be two bacon strips, one long and a short one.
