Mega/Vacor Molecule—Check it out!!

Recommended Posts

I follow the old picker’s way of mind, “if you have never seen it before—buy it”. I cannot find anything on the net about these and I do search like a Fox after a Mouse---days on end.

Here is one example of a “Mega Molecule” in original packaging. It is a spinner toy with marbles involved—six of them and I would guess that they are 16mm or close to 5/8”.

I am showing my best one imho, the other one that I purchased has a solid, bright orange core which the marbles are connected to with plain-ish Cleary ones plus a “fancy swirl” marble that are enhanced with the shiny chrome looking stuff on the exterior. They both have a chromed/enhanced exterior as a finish with all of the marbles involved.

I post this just in case some of you may come across such a thing in your searches. I am sure that most of these have not survived with the original packaging.

What a cool package, a Pyramid, why would I open them---tempting though it might be, really tempting I might add, who does not like a spinner?

I thank all of you that have supported me through my eye problems as of late, I cannot really sort any marbles yet but I can at least let my camera do the thing that it does---focus! (at least I could handle E-Bay for the last several weeks and I did make some nice scores which I hope to share in the future)

I love this stuff---really love it!!

Marble—On!!!

Very cool, Art, collectible for sure. Just looking at it though, it doesn't seem like it would spin for beans, which might help explain your difficulty finding info. It may have been been a short-lived item.

I really think you should take one out and give it a whirl - just to see how it works.

Wow, talk about hard to shoot an image—well I did it.
These are cool to see spinning for sure; they really sparkle/light up. I got 40 seconds as a top spin—they almost balance on their own and with trial and error I do not doubt that they will.
It is just a cool thing that you may come across someday.

You did it, Art! And I'll bet you're glad you did. I'm jealous now because I want a try too!
