Akro Turquois Patch?

I'm pretty sure this is Akro but I've been pretty sure before and been pretty wrong 😁!  Thoughts?  Does it have a special name?

I think there is general agreement now that it is Akro.

 

I have probably seen it called some name other than "Akro patch", but I don't think the name has caught on.

 

 

 

Or maybe some name has caught on more than I know. I'll wait with you!

IMO, it's an extra nice example with that darker yellow color.

No specific name that I know of - maybe should be called an Alley Oops. 😁

Yes,...in the past they were called Alley patch, (with that blue spot, but the base was covered with moss) as they were found in fair quantities at the Alley site, later known to be Akro.

Great information!  Thanks y'all!  So I Googled "Akro Sisterville Patch" and up popped a Marbleconnection link.  It took me to a posting that Steph made June 15, 2010 that features photos and a narrative by Ron about marbles found at Sistersville.  A very interesting read.  The story of my Sistersville patch is not nearly as intriguing.  Mine came from the bottom of a jar filled with overpriced Asian Cat Eyes, but I still think it's pretty cool that I now won one!  I love the history.  Thanks again guys for sharing!
