 Agree, the OP is transparent based type 1 tiger eye w/ veneered colors IMO. I believe parrots should also be a veneered type marble, w/ at least 4 colors not including the opaque white base (some white should be showing, the less the better)

Also, true Parrots are considered to be larger although there are marbles with similar colors in smaller size.

@wvrons Claims that even the smaller ones were called Parrots by the owner.( sorry I forget his name)

The smaller ones have been named as Parekeets by collectors only.

The smaller ones are rare but they can be found.

I see a nice older hard to find sought after four color Vitro Tri Lite. If a Tiger Eye. what type or number is it 1-2-3 or 4 ?

Old Tri Lites and later Tiger Eyes are clear base, except for type 4 Tiger Eyes which are opaque base. 

If Tiger Eye it has to be type one.
