Jackson?

PittsburghMarbles

Recommended Posts

I’ve had this marble for probably a year. I have around 60 Jackson marbles and this one looks eerily similar to some Jackson’s but I’ve never been 100% on it. Don’t think alley ever made anything similar. Heaton and Cairo are out of the question. The only other marble mfg it might be is Ravenswood as I only have a handful of examples from them. It could maybe be Champion but I don’t think so.

it does not glow under UV.

If the white glows bright, it is Jackson. If not then I would put it with Ravenswood.

Jacksons

With these Jacksons the white all glows bright. Because it is from a certain limited white Vitrolite cullet.

And no, Ron it def does not glow whatsoever. I need to learn more about Ravenswood. The last Co I barely have any but a few of their best handfuls of examples of. It’s crazy to me that Ravenswood made something so similar to Jackson.  But I do see how the Jackson examples are more whispy than than this marble now Cheese.
