PittsburghMarbles
I’ve had this marble for probably a year. I have around 60 Jackson marbles and this one looks eerily similar to some Jackson’s but I’ve never been 100% on it. Don’t think alley ever made anything similar. Heaton and Cairo are out of the question. The only other marble mfg it might be is Ravenswood as I only have a handful of examples from them. It could maybe be Champion but I don’t think so. it does not glow under UV.

wvrons
If the white glows bright, it is Jackson. If not then I would put it with Ravenswood. Jacksons With these Jacksons the white all glows bright. Because it is from a certain limited white Vitrolite cullet.

PittsburghMarbles
This is why I thought it was jackson, the other marbles are 100% Jackson as I got them in an original Jackson bag. The marble in question is at the bottom of the 2nd row. The others are all Jackson. IE the first row is the single marble on the left with nothing below it. cheese
To me the Jacksons have a strandy fluffy quality to the ribbon that the RW lacks. And a bit sloppier stream makeup.
PittsburghMarbles
Just as to there’s no confusion, this is the marble in question, the rest are 100% Jackson.
PittsburghMarbles
And no, Ron it def does not glow whatsoever. I need to learn more about Ravenswood. The last Co I barely have any but a few of their best handfuls of examples of. It’s crazy to me that Ravenswood made something so similar to Jackson. But I do see how the Jackson examples are more whispy than than this marble now Cheese.
PittsburghMarbles
Also to add to this, nearly all of the jackson examples of colorful swirls glow like crazy that I have and you are def correct. (Don’t know why the second photo is upside down, I checked and it’s right side up in my phone, oh well).
