I have only had in-hand a small bag of Heatons and was gifted three of them by Ron for study purposes. I wouldn't have gotten there. I thought the were a newer company 1960's They started in 1946, and were still running in the 1960's. Bill Heaton sold his factory to the Bogard familly in 1971. So Heaton was around awhile and I wouldn't think "rare" applies unless speaking of some particular color combo. But they weren't a prolific manufacturer.
