Meep Posted August 9 Report Share Posted August 9 I used to collect shells, fossils, rocks, minerals and beach glass then got into the fluorescent ones. Then started to find beach marbles while hunting for beach glass which led to collecting marbles. I also collect glass, coins and insulators. Mines by far not going to command that price obviously but still worth way more than what I paid! Well, Mines not exactly in super shape, about 10 or so chipped teeth, but still sought after for its semi-hard to find status, especially for the ones that are superb. But beware, as with other glass collectibles, they are being reproduced out there! I found that out with a green Mason jar a couple years ago. Got it home, looked up the embossing, which was really good, too discover it was made in China. One small marking on the bottom gave it away!
